Wait, did something happen to Cissoko in jail? Did the AA police uncover a few unpaid parking tickets? Did his Mom lose $10 at bingo? Rough few days for the young man. I hope that more bad news doesn't come out.

under 100 points stop making the rest of us look bad this again and that stupid e-bay rant. I hate this thread as much as The Shredder likes MS Paint...yeah I went there.

I'm not saying this article could not have been found by going back through a couple days posts, but this can be annoyingly painful. So, just how does the search engine on this site work? Does it look only at titles? Filed under? Or does it actually look through the body? dnak438 puts it up again and it takes multiple responses to point it out? Talk about double posts.... Get over it.

It's on the front page of mgoboard twice. Spare the rod, spoil the poster. Good rule of thumb: If news is over 15 minutes old, there's already a thread. It would probably also be great for the board, if Brian was to eliminate the side bar on the homepage. I didn't neg you fwiw

When? Today? Yesterday? I agree if the news is old, it has probably already been posted. But most of the 'elitist' high pointers seem to think everyone is like them and have time to see all posts, when they happen...and make a comment, however inane. I'll wager the majority of the readers to not monitor this site constantly. I normally look at this site once in the morning and don't have the time nor inclination to look at it again. If I don't see something on the board then, I missed it. While I did see the Boo Boo post yesterday, there have been others I would not have see if someone had not reposted it. There is nothing forcing anyone click on a link. If it is a double post, one should just ignore it and it will fall off the board (or are the Hot, Recent and New tabs pointless?). Intelligent discussion is one thing (see NOLA Blue's recent diary about the star system), but repetitious badgering is another.

Click on the mgoboard link at the top of the home page. The front page of the board keeps the last 50 or so posts., and usually goes back to well into the day before. I know what you're saying, but I think you'll lose patience as time goes on, at least I did. The extra posts bump good stuff, and dilute the discussion when people start having three separate conversation about the same article.

the search examins titles, topics the [content] is filed under, the body of the [content] content can be any number of things, not limited to blog posts (made by Brian, Tim, et al), diaries, forum topics, even ad bars. it does not appear to have any type of sorting (date updated, date posted, relevance, etc) applied to it - as near as I can tell, the order of results are seemingly random (there might be a hidden relevance score attached). honestly though, you can use google to search this site, because MGoBlog is indexed almost instantly. Examples: http://www.google.com/search?q=cissoko+trouble+mgoblog http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=ebay+bidding+wars+mgoboard http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=players+forever+mgoboard http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=nfl+11+minutes+mgoboard

I can't believe he's been arrested three times in the last two days for marijuana possession with intent to sell. You'd think he would've learned his lesson by yesterday afternoon.
