Still think that he is MSU's to lose, but maybe the Arnett news changes a litte bit, also don't know what the Stonum situation means in terms of taking 3 WRs for this class.

According to many of the pay sites. Michigan wants him to come and he has a commitable offer. I know everyone thinks this class will wrap up with Garnett yuri armani and grant but their is a serious possibility we strike out on all four. Yuri will finally visit on 13th so shall see there. Armani is still committed to psu, and this feels like Blake countess recruitment except backwards. If Garnett goes to stanford I wouldn't be suprised at all. Grant is up in the air, but of all 4 I have the most confidence in him. Recruiting is a funny thing and anything can happen. If Madaris wants to commit he will be able to.

One of the paysites has been hinting that we stopped recruiting Wright. Unless the latest Stonum incident has changed things, its unlikely that we will take another wide receiver in this class, which is a mistake. If Madaris wants to commit, we should take him, imho. Insiders at a certain paysite have serious doubts as to whether or not a Madaris visit will actually happen next weekend, though.

I do not see this coaching staff encouraging a recruit to visit, and then not accepting him if he commits. To me, this coaching staff understands, and defines the words honor and integrity, and I am proud we have men of this caliber representing Michigan

I really like the  looks of this guy.  He's big, and has a good eye for the ball on deep routes.  With the prospect of losing Stonum, it's really important to have a big target or two for Denard next year.

Darboh, Chesson & Madaris really can't/wont help us next season, imho. Chesson in particular needs some time to get stronger before he'll be ready to play. We need to pray that Jerald Robinson is ready to step up and get himself out of the coaching staff's doghouse.

Looks like a play maker to me. More athletic and faster than I thought. Not sure his 40 time but looks like he has good game speed. Also had some wiggle to him. Let him visit and let's see what happens.

I have a cousin who goes to school with Monty and I asked him about his recruitment and word going around the school is he is an MSU lean. His top 3 are MSU, UM and Cinci in that order from all accounts. They told me he is blazing fast but don't know his 40 time. If Stonum doesn't work out Madaris could very well be an option. I wouldn't mind the kid playing in a winged helmet!

This kid is not blazing fast.  He accelerates quickly and is very elusive, but he does not have top end speed.  With all his other abilities, he should be a solid player, but he won't be out running college DBs.  After the catch, he wasn't gaining any further separation from the H.S. DBs.
