McQuay was always a player I thought Michigan had a pretty good chance at and laitly the stars seem to be aligning for us to snag him from the SEC....or maybe thats just my wishful thinking.

What a waste of a great defensive mind these past few years. Monte Kiffin was a defensive genius in his days at Tampa. Hopefully he can get back to the NFL and make some noise. As a Bucs fan, I'd welcome him back to Tampa.

What's the very best scenario. McQuay, Green & Treadwell?!?? If Dawson's in who's out??!? In my opinion this team needs a legit WR and RB? So would you rather have Dawson or McQuay?

I wouldn't be surprised if we had availability for the 28 max, expecting possibly three 5th years departing, and some natural attrition, but I'd be surprised if we took more than 1 player at each of the 4 positions we're offering right now. Can't really see us taking 2 more RBs or OL, but it could work if we took 2 more WRs as long as one of them was JaQuay Williams who can play right away while the others redshirted. Maybe we could take 2 DBs if one was a true SS type (James Crawford) and the other was a FS/CB type (McQuay).

No surprise here. Figured he resigned to avoid the inevitable awkward conversation of his firing with his younger boy.

USC had some real schematic flaws, i'll be curious to see what this move does for them. We all know what a difference the right D coordinator can make.
