I believe it was for Adam Stenavich's brother was killed in Afghanistan. I was there but couldn't hear everything. Stenavich is a grad assistant.

Don't remember all the details, but on the TV broadcast they mentioned that his young son had passed away(3 monthsi believe).

Actually it was Adam Stenavich's two month-old son who passed away.

Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, but one of the coaches had a 3 month old baby who died 8 days ago.

I couldn't imagine what it would be like to lose a child. Thoughts & Prayers for the Stenavich family. Puts things into perspective.

I think someone posted a picture of the stickers for the helmets maybe an hour or so before the game, but I didn't quite catch the reference until it was mentioned at the game. Very, very tragic and thoughts and good vibes to Adam and his family.

Adam is a grad assistant and a former player, I think he played with Mike Hart and Chad Henne. He and his wife also have two daughters. I can't imagine anything worse than losing a child, I hope he and his family are finding some comfort.
