I didn't quite hear what was announced prior to the moment of silence at the game today other than the helmet stickers. Was this for a former player?
Mike Lantry, 1972
I believe it was for Adam Stenavich's brother was killed in Afghanistan. I was there but couldn't hear everything. Stenavich is a grad assistant.
Don't remember all the details, but on the TV broadcast they mentioned that his young son had passed away(3 monthsi believe).
It was for his son, who died 8 days ago.
Maybe it was for Stenavich's son. I couldn't hear it 100% either.
Stenavinch lost his 3 month old son. They wore LHS decals on their helmets; his sons initials
I believe it was for his son.
Wow sorry I was way off then.
Actually it was Adam Stenavich's two month-old son who passed away.
Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, but one of the coaches had a 3 month old baby who died 8 days ago.
I couldn't imagine what it would be like to lose a child. Thoughts & Prayers for the Stenavich family. Puts things into perspective.
three months old. And Adam was on the sideline working. . .
That's a terrible thing to have to endure. My prayers reach out to the family.
may God please be with Adam's family, there can't be much worse things in life than losing a child.
Which is why it is so so excruciating.
Sincere thoughts and kind will to the Stenavich Family.
Prayers & good wishes for the family.
I think someone posted a picture of the stickers for the helmets maybe an hour or so before the game, but I didn't quite catch the reference until it was mentioned at the game. Very, very tragic and thoughts and good vibes to Adam and his family.
Adam is a grad assistant and a former player, I think he played with Mike Hart and Chad Henne. He and his wife also have two daughters. I can't imagine anything worse than losing a child, I hope he and his family are finding some comfort.
