Molk feature on mgoblue

Submitted by D.C.Blue on

Just got through watching the feature on Molk.  MAN! I love the way this guy thinks.  Not to mention the bond he has with DR.  He hit the nail on the head with what he says about why he doesn't talk to or doesn't like talking to the media.  The TEAM! The TRADITION!  All the reasons why I love Michigan Football and have for 30+ years now.

I about shat myself Saturday when he went down.  You could hear the collective sigh in the stadium.  I told my wife that I was trying to convince myself it was an equipment malfunction (knee brace).

No idea what the issue was but so glad he was okay!

That is a sweet Avatar by the way.  Diary of a Mad Man has always been one of my favorites as well.

You are right on. Everyone knew what he meant to the team when he went down last year. The place went  silent. I love the interior of this line and from what I am hearing by the people that know, the Tackles were a great surprise too.

Our play and size in the trenches makes me feel great week to week about our chances.

Dave Molk is incredible.  What an interview.  If there is anyone 'All in for Michigan', It's Molk.  I love that he has a great relationship with DRob and that he and DRob both hate the media because they care so much about the team.  This program is headed in the right direction because of these kids and this awesome staff.  Awesome stuff guys.

Molk commenting about how Denard doesn't want all the fame, speaks clearly to Denard's humbleness.  I think that he has the right attitude to sustain success on and off the field.

I couldn't agree more with that statement. I ran into Denard on campus earlier this year when my wife and I were in town. He ran across the street to sign an autograph for my son, who was not with us at the time.

"Christian  Go Blue  Denard Robinson  #16"

He was a very quiet, polite and softspoken young man in the brief conversation we had while he was signing the notepad. I asked him if I could snap a quick pic of him with my cell phone for "proof" to my son that it was actually Denard's signature on the paper. My son would be the first to say, "Pics or it didn't happen" - lol. He said sure, and gave up the big smile. I thanked him for making my son's day and wished him and the team all the best in the coming season.

His parents should be proud to have raised such a great young man. There is not an ounce of pretentiousness in him - unlike many elite atheletes at major D1 universities.

He really needs to Trademark that smile.

Over the last few years I have kind of forced myself to like the guys on the team as much as I liked Hart, Henne, Long, and company. I have finally found that in Molk and DRob. These guys are good guys and class individuals!
