Moderator Action Sticky

Submitted by formerlyanonymous on

Brian has requested that instead of deleting each individual comment in the Moderator Action Sticky, that we instead just create a new thread. It takes hours of less time, preserves the comments for future explanations, and just clears things up faster.

You'll notice that the previous thread is now locked, and will slowly fade back into darkness. For the time being, the link from the Useful Stuff menu will point to the wrong location. We're working on a fix for that.

This thread is an ad-hoc way of tracking what threads and comments get removed. Mods that remove a thread should post the title here with a brief reason as to why the thread is gone.

NOTE: if you leave an irrelevant comment in this thread it will be deleted.

New Thread.

And anyone who actually had graduated from U-M and disagrees is called a troll or some profanity by the community college morons who inhabit this site.

As an alum, I will continue to tell the truth because the majority of you who have your noses so far up Brady Hoke's ass have lost your sense of smell and your common sense.

Three years from now, when the Mike DeBoard offense chugs back to another 8-4 citrus bowl year and all of you are happy, I will still be arguing for a winning Michigan program and not settling for a sparty citrus bowl.

The truth is most of you are no better than the morons on the OSU and MSU sites. So when you get a real education at Michigan and can use words other than troll, maybe there can be some rational discourse.

What's a good onomonapeia for a hammer? Plunk? Thunk? KARAKATOOM!!! Anyway,

KARAKATOOM!!!

With a name like that this was probably inevitable. He did participate intelligently in the past so I wonder if someone else was screwing around on his account. But then, the handle..

I sent an e-mail to mgoblog@gmail and then realized this might be the more appropriate venue to address the situation: could a moderator please review the "Luke Fickell Photoshop Thread"? It has devolved into a number of crude comments about the women in the picture and one of the women is apparently related to a poster on this site who has take offense to the insults levied at this relative. His objections have been met with a  "Calm down, Francis!" type response.

Thanks.

Fun while it lasted. I'm not sure why America's birthday got the OP so mad. Maybe it was the MD 20/20. Probably fluorescent green color...mmmmm.

What's suggested by the OP in the Jordan Diamond Tweet thread is a potential NCAA violation. I think the thread should be deleted, or perhaps a mod could edit the OP reminding people not to contact recruits and then lock the thread.

I know that's why you put it up, but Skip Bayless (or whichever yelling head) ESPN put on doesn't deserve a new thread when there have been several threads about his comments and the talking head doesn't provide any actual information. A national level talking head rarely has any new information to provide, just talking points that others have repeated ad nauseum.

It's just like people who create a new thread to expound on a debate in a previous thread--they need to keep it there.

For what it's worth, I appreciate that you took the time to say something if you felt strongly about it.

Cutting down on some of the kiosk items. If you have a suggestion for something like a networking board, set something up and email mgoblog (at) gmail with a suggestion. FWIW, the data says you'll find a job through (in order of likelihood):

a. Your personal network

b. Alumni/association type network

c. Job fair

d. other/internet applications
