MOAR OT: Whatcha all working on/doing this afternoon?

Submitted by profitgoblue on

Some of you enjoyed this thread last Friday so I figured I'd strike it up again today.

I'm not going to do a damn thing for the rest of the day.  The majority of my business people are at the Wells Fargo Championshio down here at Quail Hollow (which is a beautiful course, by the way) and I'm stuck here.  So I've decided to take a flier for the rest of the day.  My plan is to:

1.  Do some research on YouTube to become a better Battlefield 3 multiplayer.  There is a staggering number of videos and I intend to spend a good 2 hours watching some.

2.  The little dude is coming up to the office to monkey around a bit.  He loves visiting daddy at work.

3.  Probably going to hit up Chick-fil-A for a chocolate milkshake before we head for home.

4.  Profit (no pun intended).

Whatcha all up to on your end?  Anything exciting?

P.S.  I'll be playing some Battlefield 3 late-night tonight (starting at around 1am). if anyone is interested, PSN me and we'll shoot some enemies.

I miss the food;

Crop in the Warehouse district had killer fois gras
Three Birds in Lakewood had killer fois gras
Melt in Lakewood had killer bar food (before Drive-Ins, Dives/ManVFood made it insanely busy)
Good hungarian food in a restaurant in Shaker Square (forgot the name)
Great beer at Winking Lizard
Lola had great fries (meh everything else)

Sports law take home exam: 15 pages on whether the NCAA is violating antitrust law by using former student-atletes' name and likeness for profit. It's actually a pending case right now that could restrict universities from using old players' jerseys (Michigan selling number 2 Woodson jerseys, for instance).

Only 1-2 more hours and it will be time for the weekend: getting situated after a recent move, prepping for an MPP, and a few tasty microbrews.

I had only one objective for this afternoon (or my life, really) -- to get over the 900-point threshold at MGoBlog, opening up a world of wondrous riches and endless opportunities.  Kids, it just goes to show, DREAMS CAN COME TRUE!

PGB - I know you said you're an in-house atty; 6 months into this line of work, and I've never found a moment to be able to post on mgoblog during the day.  I don't know how you and the other attorneys here do it.  A partner would shoot me dead.

I suppose it's possible if there's no billing time requirement.
