All is forgiven, Gibbons. Take your place in the firmament of Michigan lore.
Although I didn't see the BTN replay until later, having been at the game, I have to say that the call of the game-winning FG summarized the thoughts of many when they said, "Gibbons......GIBBONS.....IT'S GOOD"
As I recall, one of the final shots of the episode of "The Journey" which highlighted this game was of Dantonio and other MSU staffers taking away what appear to be leftovers. It only made sense somehow.
You just made me go watch that video again...Dantonio is a weird guy...
Go Blue!!
By todays end I will have watched 2011 neb, 2011 ohio, 2012 nw, and 2012 msu. I'm awsome!
Let's not forget Matt Wile..
impact upon this program than Brendon Gibbons remarkable transformation from goat to clutch.

Man, I can't wait for football season. I'm a junkie with a monkey on his back.
The best part was the internet aftermath, watching the fanbase scramble to save face for themselves by pointing out that they scored the game's only touchdown. As if that fact was more important than you know, Michigan scoring more points than they did.
But, of couse, this game was just a fluke and Dantonio will have them back in the winning column again this fall because Hoke is fat, and Rouschar is gone, and their defense is better with Gholston gone, and recruiting stars rankings don't matter because MSU develops talent and Michigan doesn't...hurr...hurr...hurr.

Every time I see Jareth Glanda, I giggle.
May Paul Bunyan stay in his rightful home forever. Schembechler Hall.
During the game-winning kick, there's a sparty player running from left to right across the screen jumping up and down in celebratiion because he thought the kick missed. It's hillarious.
