Mo Wagner with nice game in Germany win over Turkey today
Great to see Mo putting it together.
He had 23 points on 8-of-14 shooting. Was aggressive and got to the line often, as well as grabbing 6 rebounds in his best performance of the summer.
More on his performance and highlights from Dylan over at UMHoops;

It will be exciting to see Mo on the court with Charles Matthews.
....kicken some jive turkey ass!
Yes...., yes, they all HAD to be jive turkeys!
Hope he brings that type of aggression and passion every game this season! I loved that quick behind the back dribble he used in the paint, in traffic, to get himself to the rim for a layup.
If Mo can sure up that consistency, watch out, he is going to torch a lot of teams this year.
Literally just want to say I appreciate the Rick profile pic. Season 3 can't come soon enough.
Were so, so close. Game of Thrones into Rick and Morty makes me a happy man.
I think consistency is a question about Moe's game going into next season. He has played some excellent basketball interspersed with less productive stretches. Hopefully, he is able to bring his A game on a regular basis.
Or what Nerv said.
I was going to say the same thing. he should be averaging 15-20 points a game. his summer has been pretty disappointing until today IMO.
we need consistency from him, especially until we find some leadership with Walton and Irvin gone.
That's pretty impressive considering Omer Yurtseven plays for Turkey
Nice! Mo came up huge in a very close game. Can't wait to get him back on campus. This could be a surprising year for us.
will be warranted! Perhaps, shape of things to come, with possibly making several first teams...
Having an elite, experienced big man come back is such a rare thing. McGary's back injury robbed us of that in 2013-14. Before that, when was the last time? Tractor Traylor?
Morgan? Deshawn Sims? Neither were "elite or "big men". That as close as it gets. How have we even made tourneys with that track record. I guess it helps us realize we can survive without DJ Wilson.
Does the basketball team have any German-Turks like the soccer team?
That's the country I'd expect Germans to crush. Turks aren't exactly a beloved people over there.
Dude, Turkey has 75 million people and probably more of a basketball culture than Germany, if anything. That's a good win for Germany.
I'm just saying Germans don't like Turks.
It's the "That's the country I'd expect Germans to crush" part that doesn't make sense.
Keep getting better kid!
Mo looking good.
10 players shoot a ball through a hoop for 40 minutes, and at the end...
.... the Germans always win.
What competition was this in
FIBA U20 European Championships.
