Or a VPN.
But honestly, if your IT people are smart they'll spot these as well and put the kabash on it.
As another poster said above, a smart phone is your best bet, that way you're off the radar of IT.

You must work for MSU grads. My company tried to blocked sports sites from work computers. It lasted one week and then we were back to being able to peruse espn, mgothissite, and others. Martial Law was revoked. I hope this happens for you; that was a very, very long week.

Would a proxy server work?
Edit: Beat to the punch again

My partner had her laptop at home and put the old Facebook in her favorites list and somehow can always get it at work and no else can. I have no idea why as I am not that savvy with the electronics. Sometimes I've been able to get around filters by looking up the website via google and clicking on a "cached" page and then reloading the page once the "cached" page has shown up.
Just some thoughts.

Easiest way might be to put mgoblog into your google reader. Put it in a folder that sounds work related, such as "engineering". Then when you are reading it, the url looks like "google.com/reader/view/stream/label engineering"

A combination of TinyURL and Google Translate (English to English) usually can work and is not blocked (at least in all of my efforts)

was a great idea. Bosses love it when you try to circumvent their authority.
