MNF: Pats-Saints Open Thread

as they run their offense, taking off every second of the play clock. I understand the premise of our fast paced offense, but I can't help but wonder if taking time off the clock and executing well, while allowing the defense time to rest, would work just as good if not better then a fast pace offense that gets off the field fast with a score but faster without one.

The Saints receiving corps was just too deep for him to snag a roster spot, though from what I saw in preseason, the coaches gave him every opportunity.

he got hurt for a second year in a row. first year he got a bad turf tow injury that took him out on the IR. this year he tweaked either a finger or his ankle - i don't remember. he's on the practice squad currently.

Pass rusher IMO, they just can put some pressure when they blitz... and of course that leaves spaces.... They need someone like BG! =), BG played in a 3-4 scheme just like the one the Pats use, and if they think he's too small (6-2) they can use him as an OLB a la Harrison/Woodley.... Craigh Roh... if they want to use some kind of "spinner"...
