The Bears get a rematch in Chicago and the Falcons visit Ford Field right before Christmas. It should be fun.
Edit*: Week 16 vs the Falcons is on a Saturday night instead of Monday.

Curious to see if they get some Sunday Night Football games also. SNF is the new MNF in terms of prestige it seems.
They got 2 SNF games. Against the Niners in week 2 and the Pack in week 14. Total of 5 nationally televised games with the Texans on Tday.
Thanks, just saw that hit the newswire a minute after I posted my reply. 5 nationally televised games is a pretty strong signal that the Lions are "back" in the eyes of the networks.
I like it because it means I actually get to see them. I live in Florida so it's hard to get them on tv down here.
Also the Week 16 game against ATL is a Saturday night, not Monday.
Yeah I just noticed that. Weird.
My guess is that it had something to do with Christmas Eve that Monday.

Cutler better take extra pre-game insulin or else he's not going to survive the Silver Rush. If a single player (Brandon Marshall) can take the Bears offense from weak to 45 points, I'll eat my hat.
37-13 last year in Chicago. Bears will be better this year barring a Cutler injury. Should be a great game though.
If I recall, the Bears offense wasn't all that effective in that game, it was all the interceptions thrown by Stafford in his first game after hurting his thumb. We shall see, it's always fun when Detroit and Chicago get together.

Chicago beat Detroit 37-13. With Martz gone and Marshall in, I think Chicago wins both times against the Loins.
That game should be cute to watch. Don't forget who really owns the NFC North. GO PACK GO. Also no MNF at Lambeau? Blasphemy

That was a fake schedule released by some blogger doing a social experiment or something. He wanted to see how many people would pick it up and think it was real.
Go Lions! For someone who lives out of state, I love the fact that I can watch the Lions more than just 1 time a year on Thanksgiving now.

They kind of got the shaft on the locations of the primetime games, but If you can't win on the road your not going to be very good anyways
last year on the road. I expect the Lions to have a similar record for next season.
I think that two Monday night games says a lot about how far the Lions have come in a fairly short span of time and how much attention they are getting (and rightfully so, in my opinion). I honestly am not sure if we have ever had two in one season, but I remember a very painful stretch where we didn't even have one, so I will definitely take it and enjoy it. This level of national attention is definitely a good thing.
Sweet. Lions are starting to get some respect. They can be a fun team to watch.

I'm calling it right now: the Lions will go through the year undefeated, dominating every opponent they play. They will be labeled as locks to play in the Super Bowl. Stafford will show that he is truly elite, Megatron will continue to be Megatron, and Suh will close in on Strahan's single-season sack record.
Then, the world will end on December 21st.
