So talented.  Not how championship teams close out games, but it's great for the freshman to play games like this before the B1G season.  Think they will be where they need to be by then.

Good win.  Gotta give NCState credit for hanging in there; the announcers were right, they could have folded so easily.  They certainly have the talent to be elite, but thier lack of chemistry showed early.  Conversely, youth showed at the end there when things went stagnet.  Hopefully they can learn and step on the throat against other good teams in the future.

If NC beats Indiana tonight, which is a possibility... and OSU beats Duke tomorrow, which is also a possibility, we could very well be the #1 team in the country come Monday.  How crazy would that be?

If OSU beats Duke they probably jump us in that case and go to #2 or #1, depdning on Indiana's result.

Tirico (or the color guy, not sure) made a good point. Seems like we went into a shell and tried to finish the game rather than just using our athleticism and continuing to play our game. Something that will probably be addressed.

you have to work the clock a bit when you are up 15 with 5 min to play.  that said, i think mcgary got to handle the ball too much up top down the stretch.  burke should take better control to close out the game; dishing to thj or stauskus when needed.  they make free throws.

need to hit FT's better in the end of a game and be more decisive on offense in the waning minutes.

 

But I'll take this win all day against an extremely long, lanky and athletic team that will be a tough out in the NCAA's, I don't want to see them again.
