Mitch McGary article @ Yahoo!
Just ran across an new article on Mitch and expectations for him next year as well as 6 other freshman. Not a whole lot there, just a couple sentences, but good to see the love.
You need to fix the link.

Sorry about that. Thanks for the correction Blue. Wasn't certain it was thread worthy but it popped up on front page of Yahoo this am and thought I'd throw it up there. Should have drank my coffee first, or at least paid more attention to what I was doing.

Good to see McGary at number one out of all these players. I hope McGary has that kind of impact when he gets to Ann Arbor. At least there are some observers who don't see McGary as "sliding down," as seems to be the meme of the moment.
Does all of the negative press keep McGary in school for longer than one year... if so, then keep it coming! Michigan is getting the same player either way: his impact doesn't depend on these media bozos.

way see Mcgary at the moment is a kid that really doesn't have much to play for right now. while not the greatest attitude I can get where he is comming from.

hmmm ...
Buzz: If big man Cody Zeller stays in school, the Hoosiers easily could go into next season as the favorite to win the national title.
Really ... from 4th in the B1G to National Title favorites ???

They're recruiting class is rated even better than ours and they lose less production than we do, yet many people see us as Final Four contenders. Indiana looks like they could be back.

ESPN has them predicted to be #1 with these two guys back. They're picking up a point guard that is a distributor similar to Spike Albrecht, a pass first facilitator, which is pretty big if they are going to a run and gun offense like Crean suggests.
They have IU at 1, OSU at 5 (!), MSU at 7, and U-M at 8. Expectations are going to be pretty high for us and IU. If OSU and MSU stumble they can play the Sullinger/Green loss card to delfect the criticism. However, both IU and U-M have gotten better in the offseason. The pressure is going to be on next year for sure.

I think he (ED: the journalist) forgets that IU has Jordy Hulls as the starting PG... ?
/loses credibility

Yogi (picinic basket) Ferrel is projected to challenge for the starting spot.
3 point shooters in the B1G. IU will find a way to have him on the floor.
Trey is certainly the key to U of M making strides this year ... with virtually no senior leadership heading into next year.
