That's terrible I hope they both recover fully. If they both would have signed with us the melt down around these parts would be unprecedented.

it is sad to see Kris Frost have more time with the surgeon's knife than on the field this fall. Hoping each of them recovers and can share their talents on Saturdays.

I wanted Kris Frost 50X more than I did Dee Hart. I hope he gets his injuries settled and has an excellent career at Auburn, he seemed like a good guy. Let's not feel slighted that a top 20 5-star player thought so highly of us to include us in his top 2, which was a very close finish.

If there's one year that is better than others to miss with an injury, it's your true freshman season.  Now he gets a redshirt year and still has an opportunity to play for four years.  There will be plenty of time for him now to read the playbook and watch video of his conference opponents and I'm sure he'll be ready to contribute in fall 2012.

I didn't see it mentioned, but I hope he is getting this done by Dr James Andrews, who is located in Birmingham and has such a great reputation that when you type "dr james" into Google, the first suggestion is "andrews."  That's first out of a lot of doctors with the first name of James.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

and jshclhn said.  One of the top two at his position nationally had us in his top 2, and that was with the last coaching staff, not this one.  I prefer to stay focused on all the positive coming.  Also, as jshclhn said, this happening now allows for a redshirt and 4 years of playing time.  Hope this young man does well and we do even better!
