Way too early, miscellaneous season predictions go here:
First QB Sack: Jake Ryan covering a scramble.
First TD: Denard to Odoms completion. 31 yards.
First FG made: 37 yarder by Matt Wile from the left hash mark against Western.
First FG: It comes in the 3rd game of the year, it will be a 20 yarder that sneaks inside the left upright thanks to a stiff breeze.
First TD: Stonum housing one on the opening kickoff.
First Sack, Mike Martin sacking Western's QB in the endzone for a safety on their first offensive play.
He poops maize and pees blue.
So 9-0 with the ball 25 seconds in? I like it
First TD: Cox runs 38 yards
First sack: BWC 6 yards
TD Fitz Touisant- on a 50 yarder and later will get hurt, keep the myth of Touisant alive.
Sack- Roh and big Will is going to pick it up and run for his life for a TD...all 10 yards
First TD of the season, pick 6... remember those?
First offensive TD... hand off up the middle to a one handed Shaw.
Carvin Johnson with a pick six where he makes an amazing break on the ball.
First TD: Hopkins from 2 yards out led by McColgan
Defensive stats against WMU: Woolfolk and Cam Gordon Ints; Martin and Kovacs with a sack and Roh 2 sacks; Demens 10 tackles
Jack Kennedy will celebrate a TD on the sideline with 9:46 left in the first quarter!
First TD-- Hagerup punts and the returner drops it in the endzone, conveniently picked up by Blake Countess
First FG made-- Wile knocks one in from 26, hitting both uprights
First Fumble-- Jibreel Black disrupts snap
Fist player to transfer-- Brendon Gibbons
First game : Rawls 130 yards rushing 2 tds.
1st interception by 2nd string CB Denard Robinson.
Not even funny
Clearly he meant that Denard will actually be playing Ironman football and thus be the QB and a CB. Where he messed up is saying second-string instead of first.
First made FG: A 47 yarder to win by 1 as time expires by Matt Wile against OSU.
If we don't hit a field goal before then I highly doubt we even attempt that. But I do like the idea of beating Ohio as time expires. Then everyone rushes the field.
Sorry, I forgot to mention that while Wile has been killing the FG's in practice, he just hasn't had to try one all season because we've scored on every possession throughout the season where we've gotten into enemy territory.
Then YES I absolutely love your prediction.
1. An astonishing 50% of our players will perform better than the other half.
2. The first Michigan TD of the season will be made by a player in a winged helmet.
3. Sales of hair products among the Michigan coaching staff will take a precipitous fall.
4. Pam Ward, when calling a game, will say something like, "Michigan facing 3rd and 12 from its own 20... Running play... First down."
I beg to differ on #2. I'm thinking Ryan will get a fumble recovery for a TD, and I'm assuming he'll have already chipped the wings off his helmet at that point.
Ryan will be the first player to plays without wings, but not for disciplinary reasons.
First TD = a 1 yard MANBALL run off left tackle. Matt Wile with the PAT
First INT = Troy Woolfolk who subsequently houses it.
First Sack = Craig Roh
First TFL = Martin, of course.
First sack - Roh, 2nd play of the season.
First TD - Denard, 45 yd. QB draw on the first drive of the season.
First INT - Woolfolk, 2nd Quarter,
First FG - Wile, 38 yds, 2nd Q against W. Michigan
First Night Victory - Michigan 24, ND 17
The defense will be very good and we will all be very pleased. The offense will be boring yet proficient. We will win more than expected (8), but in low scoring games.
Denard will have 20 throwing touchdowns, 5 running touchdowns, and 7 interceptions during the season.
Devin will show he has great potential, but is still not as good as Denard during his every-other game appearance.
by the Mike Martin led defense.
I love ridiculous predictions!
-Denard will intelligently throw the ball away to avoid a sack during the ND game, but due to his amazing accuracy it gets stuck in the bell of a sousaphone.
-Hagerup will accidentally punt the ball through the uprights. Student section goes crazy and chants "there's our kicker *clap, clap, clapclapclap*"
-Fans will remember what it's like to be bored and winning.
-Denard runs all over at least one legit team. Borges proceeds to say "Keep doing that, I'll be over here taking a nap."
-At least one "What's the Dileo?" sign will make its way to the Big House.
-Denard will be forced to take online courses by the university.
-We'll have one weather delay.
First twenty touchdowns: Mike Cox on runs of 22, 82, 54, 73, 35, 61, 99, 34, 43, 8, 12, 74, 24, 19, 58, 33, 99, 14, 51, and 1 yards.
Those are some big numbers.
That's what he said.
Should be getting more posbangs lmao
Lots of pointing...
And sad Dantonio...
If I could.
Also sad sweater vest.
number of DB injuries: eleventy billion
Biblical vengeance on our enemies. The rebirth of Michigan's secondary as a unit. A decent running game. No Heisman for Denard this year, but he keeps his starting job and comes back for his senior year.
of the season opener - it's Good. The Big House loses its mind!
makes the World Series.
Anything less is UNACCEPTABLE!
Cox, with ball in hand, will score after he inserts himself powerfully through the hole and achieves penetration.
That's what the hot female anatomy & physiology teacher said!
Mike Cox busts it loose.
to take them straight back to Spartan Stadium when they get out.
to annoy me after the season starts......Nate Volk.
We are really fucking doing this now?
Yes, we are fucking doing this right now.
both of the new scoreboards explode.
I'd just like to point out what happened that last time Denard played Western, specifically the first collegiate snap he took. My prediction; it happens again, while Borges' head asplodes as the law of dilithium negates the natural rule of "You run for yards, but you pass for miles..."
UM will NOT fumble a kick return/punt return.
Wife will once again ask, Why is it that you need to leave the house at 8am, and do not get home until after midnight for a 3 hour football game?
True freshmen Desmond Morgan will see playing time at WIL this season and when he does he will take a running back out of the game. This kid knows how to HIT and has a football brain WAY beyond his years.
Brady Hoke gets really drunk while playing King's Cup after someone makes a rule about no pointing.
Most of these posts are folks mentally fellating themselves with football fantasies... I'll bite:
First TD: Denard on a QB draw from 22 yds out.
First Sack: Demens on a mike blitz on the first play against WMU
