I think it was caused by our player that jumped up with his hands up - it made Rees screw up, because if he completed the normal throwing motion it would have almost certainly been batted.

i shed a lone tear after mercury hayes against virginia in '95 (sidenote: was tonight tied for biggest 4th quarter UM comeback ever? virginia game and this one were both 17.) i cried when mealer walked out. i welled up tonight when we touched the banner but held back. you have inspired me to let loose next time.
