Today M-Live posted an article that states Minor would like to rush for 1000 yards still this season. (Here is the full article http://www.annarbor.com/sports/brandon-minor-nearing-100-percent-aiming-...) Minor currently has 274 yards which is an average of 54.8 yards per game. This means that Minor would have to average 121 yards every game for the rest of the season to achieve this goal.
IMO, this will be very difficult since Michigan faces a fairly tough roughing defense three out of the remaining five games. Penn State, will be the toughest, and has only allowed 528 yards this season or 75.4 YPG, Illinois, will be the easiest, and has allowed 1077 yards this season or 179.5 YPG, next will be Purdue who has allowed 1070 yards or 152.9 YPG, followed by Wisconsin who has allowed 802 yards or 114.6 YPG and then finally Ohio State who has allowed 615 yards this season or 87.9 YPG.
I would love to see Minor get this but with the way RR is splitting carries on the team, which i really enjoy watching, i do not see it happening. Michigan is the leading rushing team in the Big Ten with 235 YPG (includes DSU) so it is possible, but i really just do not think Minor will get the number of carries needed to achieve this.
