Well I decided to get on a plane instead. Headed for Minnesota.
I am so pumped to watch us play for the natty title tomorrow! Go Blue!!!
Ps if Anyone reading this is there already and has extra tickets, I'll buy them. I need 2.

Thanks for all the great responses to my "Cool Story." I will be sure to represent the Maize and Blue to the best of my ability. I have a feeling that this is our night. But we will see.
Go Blue for Life!!!!!
That is a cool story bro story indeed. Wish I was going. Make sure you're loud as shit.
That's actually pretty legit, I did something similar with the spring game last year, bought a ticket from Georgia the night before.
Spring Game was free?
EDIT: Wow nevermind I thought he meant he bought a ticket to the game and not a plane ticket.
Are You Mike by any chance?
Nope sorry.
that's actually pretty legit, I did something similar with the ncaa basketball tournament this year. I got a plane ticket the night before.
You and exmtroj lead alarmingly parallel lives.
that's actually pretty legit, I did something similar with exmtroj this year. I got a parallel life the night before.
Minus capitalization
Wow man, nice!
How much $$$ did that set you back?
Used FF miles for most of the ticket, still cost 350 for that.
Got a free hotel room (overlooking the Xcel Center) courtesy of my dad's business points.
Took a bus from the airport to the hotel for 2 bucks.
Now I just gotta lock down tickets and I'm all set!!!
With the number of UND (or as I am still in favor of using NTND) fans who don't want to watch the final any more I bet you can find them pretty cheap
Represent for all of us that can't be there.
Oh, and GO BLUE!!!
i kind of wish i had done that
True dedication. Kudos to you sir.
That's like really awesome. Unless you're bipolar, but then again that's still pretty sweet.
haha "unless you are bipolar". Awesome
If you don't get tickets by other means, go to the Eagle Street Grille (across the street west of Xcel). The scalpers congregate on that corner. You shouldn't have a problem.
Actually, for anyone looking to pre-game, Eagle Street is pretty standard.
Thanks for this tip!
My hotel is directly across from Eagle Street.
I hate dealing with scalpers but I dont have much choice.
How much do you think is reasonable?
Kudos to you BKlein. It should be a tale you can tell your kids. If I were you, I'd sneak into the lockerroom after the victory (but that's just me. Gambler by nature).
So you couldnt find fellow wolverines to watch with and thus decided to fly to the tourney. Thats actually very badass. No sarcasm.
redundant titles are redundant
that said, props for going
bklein09 you truly are a Michigan man!
to have you for lunch/dinner in my Portland home upon your return. Root hard. Have fun. Go Blue!
I may have to take you up on this at some point.
There are lots of Michigan grads out here, but it still a far cry from most of the midwest, where I cam from.
I am always looking to hang out with fellow Wolverines!
Go Blue!
Email me. [email protected]. I have to learn how to send a message to an individual.
Have a blast dude. Hopefully you'll remember this the rest of your life. When you go to Yost and see the banner, you'll be able to say "I was there!"
of their tickets. They'd probably give you the double-bird while taking your money, which would make the transaction even more satisfying.
While they flip you the double bird, just remeber to thank them for reminding you of the score of the game.
download their app or whatever. somebody's gonna have tickets floating that says screw it and drops them like a rock to move 'em
Well done man. Enjoy the experience. Hope you find tickets.
I commend you and if you can camera phone some pic's for this thread all the better.
So jealous of you. One of my friends who doesn't even really like hockey just flitted out of Ann Arbor for the game. I promised myself freshman year (08) that if we went to the FF again I'd go. And yet here I am in Ann Arbor. Ugh.
