Vince Young right there.
"Jim's a tough guy and you can see his personality is all over this football team," Fitzgerald said.
Vince Young right there.
What is his problem with Gardner? He lives the minny QB who has put up 10 pts and fumbled
Yay, Fitz TD!
Bryant pulls, TD
This running game is making me so happy. It's going to take so much pressure off of Devin and he's really going to excel.
Been nice to see some running attack. I don't care if Minny is horrible. So were uConn & Akron
It would be fun if i knew how to do plus/minus on iPad
Win me that tshirt!
Bryant crushed it on that play.
Fitz is starting to play football!
decent blocking can do. Fitz has been fine this season, just needed better blocking upfront.
He's been hesitant and danced too much. Today, combined with good blocking, he has gotten upfield and it's working much better
and dance when you have to make guys miss in the backfield. Other than Barry Sanders I can think of many RB's who have been able to be negate poor blocking on a consistent basis.
"Devin didn't hand that ball to fitz very accurately" - announcer guy
Some areas we don't look much better this game than the last few, but the running game definitely looks improved. Moving N/S and not taking all of those tackles for loss this week. Positive sign. Still Minnesota, but positive sign.
...how many did Iowa put on them on ground last week?
246 on 45.
better today. Definatly looks like the best five are now on the field. Really hope Bryant can stay healthy.
There IS a mute button on there somewhere. ProTip: Football is more fun to watch with the sound off.
critical towards only one team. The option to mute doesn't excuse the announcers acting like jackasses in what should be a neutral broadcast. Completely ridiculous.
Sometimes we just can't handle success. Thank you for the flag, though
So if someone told me it'd be 28-10 Michigan at the end of 3 I'd have been happy as shit.
Gardner wasn't very accurate on that hold either
Even Gardner's body language on the sideline is inaccurate!
He wakes up inaccurately in the morning and goes to bed inaccurately.
The announcers just did their research...
(P.S. Dear announcers: Scoreboard.)
Horrible kickoff - lets not give the momentum back blue.
Wait. Why do they get it at the spot of the hold?!
...toward the end of that 3-on-1 block, not toward the beginning. Does that put the spot right?
About the offense. Just wish now the Defense could get some more pressure and make some big plays but who knows maybe Jake Ryan will be suiting up next week.
We rag on DG non stop but when somebody else does we get pissed. Maybe we should relax also...
1) Don't speak for all of us
2) So what?! Thats how it goes. Im from Detroit. Detroit natives can point out the negatives about Detroit but when someone else does you better believe we will go defend our city!
Nothing worse than when someone responds to your comment with a list...
on him when he is commiting turnovers and not playing well. These guys are ragging on him when he is 11-14 with no turnovers. Big difference.
and have him kick off
Win some more games, get back in the top 10-12, and we'll have a lot more Musburger and McDonough and a lot less Ed Cunningham. He's 3:30's answer to Pam Ward.
but I think it may be a bit of a tipoff to put Lewan on the side we are running every play. I think a counter off that formation could be pretty effective though
Why would MN get a free play with no time after a penalty? Never heard of that before
Penalty was on O. Why do they get a benefit from it? That must be a mistake
A period can't end on an accepted penalty unless the penalty includes loss of down. If you don't want the offense to have another play, you have to decline the penalty.
ARTICLE 3. a. A period shall be extended for an untimed down if one or
more of the following occurs during a down in which time expires (A.R.
1. A penalty is accepted for a live-ball foul(s) (Exception: Rule 10-2-5-a).
The period is not extended if the foul is by the team in possession and
the statement of the penalty includes loss of down (A.R. 3-2-3-VIII).
2. There are offsetting fouls.
3. An official sounds his whistle inadvertently or otherwise incorrectly
signals the ball dead.
GERG D right here
UM defense would have yielded 10 points by the midway point of the first quarter. The difference with a Mattison led defense is even when they don't play well, they still hold the opposition to a reasonable amount.
Make them execute perfect throws. I'll take it.
C'mon, push off!
Minnesota has found their quarterback.
The invincible reception god of a TE dropped the ball, and the apocalypse begins...
On the line. I'm sick of the underneath throw we are going to get destroyed by a good team
