20-13 likely leaves them out too so they must win 1 of these 3 final games prior to the BTT. I'd love to play them again on a neutral floor with a shot to send them to the NIT.

...and before tonight's results, Massy had them as likely losing at Wisconsin (18%), beating Purdue (74%) and Indiana was more or less a good each way bet basically (51%). It puts the estimated odds of them losing out - given those numbers - at about 29% actually, so not all that likely but at the same time not insignificant if that somehow held.

Per Joe Rexode: Tom Izzo says not fouling is "a choice I made and a choice I'll live with. Guys do their damn job ...we wouldn't have been in that position."

The guy sure knows how to pretend to take the blame and then immediately throw it on his players.

I remember we used to call Munn the library. I guess Breslin is the new library.

But for real it sure seems like Breslin Center and the Izzone have lost it's edge. Teams that never won their win there on the regular now.

Don't forget that MSU has that horrible loss to Texas Southern. The committee looks at big wins and bad losses, and that is a loss worse than almost any other tournament team- the type of loss that can keep them out if they only have 18 wins on the year, and they don't have any wins against elite teams.

It was beautiful to watch Sparty blow a 6 or 7 point lead very late in the game because they kept fouling shooters. The last 3 minutes was a clinic of what not to do to win a basketball game. For having such an alleged great coach they sure played like an undisciplined/poorly coached team.
