I'm sorry..Craft is nothing but average. Without superstar talent around him all this "hustle" means crap.

If anything hopefully his hype finally dies after this game.

It's not just hustle, he is a great defender.  You don't have to score a ton of points to be a very good basketball player.  He gave Burke far more trouble than anyone else, and Burke might be rookie of the year this year.  That didn't happen because of some media-generated "hustle" meme.

I know everyone hates him and hates OSU.  He's still good.

This is why you play a tough non con sched. You can get exposed if you don't. From number three to three straight losses for the bucks. All right this weekend is huge but at the end our team can't get too down if they lose since nobody wins in Madison. I think the team can win but it will be very difficult and they will have to play amazing. Queme los barcos.

MSU last year caught us at the tail end of a brutal stretch of games (five games in 11 days, or something) and we didn't have our legs under us.  In Crisler we saw the real Michigan team.

Anyway, this isn't the same MSU team as last year - Nix is gone, and Payne is not 100% and probably never will be this season.

I think Michigan has a fair chance to take them in Crisler again, but in Lansing...They're watching tape of Nik's 6'th grade father-son game right now. And the moldy concrete palace gets pretty well lubricated for that game. A lot is going to have to go right to walk out of Lansing with a W.

They've had to deal with a lot of injuries. Agreed that they haven't looked amazing but it's not whether you're healthy now. Our advantage has been a few games to gel and get used to a team that probably won't have McGary. The funny thing is we have at least two NBA players still playing, our very good coaching staff, and a bunch of other players that have a lot of potential and/or are coming into their own. If this team can develop a passable defense like MSU did with their offense in football watch out. I have faith in this team.

It's a great day. As a side note, every time I watch craft I hate him more. I have never seen a kid get away with so many fouls and than bitch at the refs every time he gets called for one.

While OSU probably is still better than us without McGary and they should be favored when they host us, I think their only good win so far is what.... their comeback against ND?

While OSU probably is still better than us without McGary
I wouldn't even go that far. They've shown nothing to suggest they're a top 25 team, much less top 10. They simply played a piss-poor OOC schedule and got a miracle in one of the only remotely tough games (ND) they had in December. Given how hard it is to win on the road in CBB, I would give them the edge in Columbus, but on a neutral court I'd like our chances.

OSU plays pretty good D, but no go to guys offensively.  Can't say I am shocked; they have had perhaps the roughest B10 schedule to date.   Here's hoping we aren't singning the same sad song ten days from now.

Also, Minnesota is a pretty darn good team; agree with the posters that have noted the burnish to our road win there.
