Mike Weber Meeting with Harbaugh Today?

Submitted by It Happened on
Seems to be the rumor floating around some of the other message boards! Please let this be true! I love our chances if Harbaugh gets a face to face with him.

A couple of posters on this and other sites have felt pretty comfortable with predicting Weber will be coming back to Michigan.  Would be great if it was true.  Hoping to have a lot to be happy about next week.

This flip would be a lot easier if Ohio had been blasted by Alabama. That's why people saying them winning the national championship was good for Michigan have no idea what they're talking about. So far there are no 4/5 stars signing with us because of the big ten strength but a ton going to Ohio.

The conference's reputation doesn't really matter if the Buckeyes can get in while losing to a 7-6 Virginia Tech team at home. The negatives in recruiting aganst them far outway any positive. Maybe it elevates you a tad if you're Purdue or Northwestern. I fail to see how Michigan is any better off now than they were before they won.

Listen a recruit is going to choose a school and coach he feels most comfortable with.  Weber was comfortable with Michigan before before the wheels fell off.  Ohio made it's move while we were vulnerable, that's it.  They are always going to get their own share of great recruits just like we will.  Just be honest with yourself, you didn't want Ohio to win.

The conference's reputation certainly matters with some high-level ecruits, and will benefit Michigan as well as OSU once we get competitive.

I believe we'll find becoming more competitive happening soon.

At this point, what matters is on-the-field performance, concentration on player development, better training and coaching, and better in-game management. I'm confident our new staff will excel in those areas.
