I just wanted to scream it from the rooftops of the internet - Mike Hart scored his first TD in the NFL!!! I have been patiently waiting for him to recover and contribute to an NFL team, and he did a great job yesterday. Don't be surprised to see him scoring a TD in the Super Bowl this year.
Mike Hart's first TD in the NFL!!!
Wow! Who was it against? How long of a run was it? Did he play the whole game?
You are about 20 posts late
I love Mike Hart and totally don't mind that this was a double post. I could read about a Mike Hart TD all day. Thanks!
Mike Hart was my favorite U of M player of the decade I was at the game versus eastern when he broke the record hopefully this is the first of many.
It's about time. He's been starting on my fantasy team for the last 2 years and finally he's given me some points.
I'm not really into the NFL and have never played fantasy football, but my friends always do.
Seeing how worked up they get about it, I asked if I could play next year drafting an all-Michigan team. They laughed at me, but agreed.
I'm totally going to win.
I try to do a big ten (except MSU) team, its a tough go, you have to get Brees/Brady first round, then M. Barber/L. Maronney. then WR's,take old j. Feely last round.
Quality human being.
Awesome stuff, I especially enjoyed the homosexual reference at the end, along with the never-tired "parents' basement" meme.
First of all, I am not trying to say that Mike will be the best NFL running back next year. I'm not saying anything other than the fact that he scored his first points in the league. Even if it was as a back up role, he was playing against all the starters on the opposing defense. When he gets some PT in the playoffs, I won't gloat. "Never amount to anything" is already wrong. I would say that a NFL back who never plays or scores would be in that catagory. This particular player has done both.
I'm sorry that I don't monitor every post that goes up on this site, and I don't look back 20 pages of posts to make sure mine is not already up there. I don't care enough to check on things like that. Mike is my favorite player to ever wear maize and blue, and his records will probably stand the test of time.
