Hart was always at a disadvantage due to size and speed, I mean shouldn't pretend he wasn't a late 6th round pick. But he was hurt for almost all of last season and the lack of playing time on special teams and the practice field really hurt him. When the Colts drafted Donald Brown this year, he was rendered an expendable fourth string running back, though the Colts gave him another chance on the practice squad. Injuries forced him back onto the team as an emergency third running back... but now that's over. To be honest, I find the idea that Mike is going to catch on somewhere else rather ill-informed. The odds of it aren't good. He doesn't have the physical tools to play in the NFL. I've been negged for saying this twice, but I think if we all just accept it and move on we'll be better off.

He's valuable as a character guy, good blocker, special teams, backup RB. I really don;t have much doubt he'll catch on with someone. The Colts don;t need him now that Donald Brown emerged along with Addai.

1. "Character" is not something NFL teams pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for. There are plenty of good people cut from teams each season. 2. He is not a good blocker at this level. He's 5'9 and 200 pounds going up against defensive ends and linebackers who are ~6 inches taller and ~50-60 pounds heavier than him. Trust me, Julius Peppers would jizz over the possibility of being matched up against Hart. 3. He's never played on special teams 4. He has two career carries in the NFL in garbage time of a blowout.
