Mike Hart vs Tenn

Submitted by mrider on
Mike Hart is actually seeing playing time today, his first snap he caught a pass and juked a linebacker and made him miss to get a first down. It was a wicked move and proving that Mike Hart may still have a place in the NFL perhaps.

Mike Hart, I've pretty much been in love with you since 2004. And this one time my junior year when one of my friends called to tell me you were at a party he was at, I didn't go. To this day that is the biggest. regret. of my life. Sign my #20 Nike jersey?

it's not the "small" that's the problem.. it's the small + slow combo.. smart running works well in college, but not so much in the NFL. Yes.. I know I will probably get negged into oblivion for saying the truth..

Donald Brown, Addai's backup from UCONN is a 1st round pick this year and Chad Simpson (the third string guy) is our primary kick returner. So Hart's long-term prospects on the Colts aren't good if another team wants him. That said, as a Michigan fan I've seen him make two great moves on screen passes and when he pushed the pile forward for 2 more yards than he should have gotten I got a huge smile on my face. He is showing today that he deserves a permanent spot on a team if he wants it. The guy has worked so hard you can't help but feel good for him.

I've seen two runs for him now and I can confidently say that Mike Hart is the best RB on this team to run the stretch. As good as the kid is, I bet Polian isn't too happy to have picked Brown in the 1st round after today.

he looked pretty good the whole game. its unfortunate that hes behind two 1st rd picks there. but he will catch on somewhere. hopefully wherever mike shannahan ends up. or with kubiak in houston. hed be perfect in those running schemes.

I reeeeeaaaaallllly don't think that the brain-trust behind a team that has one more than 100 games this decade is that dumb. If Brown and Addai play over him, they're probably better.

I completely missed it. I had been paying attention to Hart getting signed this week and knew the Indy depth chart was hurting. Stupid Sunday nap.
