The Dolphins should sign Hart with Ronnie Brown out, and trade Ginn and Hartline for Manningham and Arrington. We would all have 2 Michigan teams to root for! ...one can only dream...
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:30 PM ^
That would be one of the greatest things ever. Get the dream team back together, finish what they couldn't here
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:43 PM ^
That would be awesome to see Hart on the field with Henne and Long.
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:07 PM ^
one Patrick White. Now, that's a NFL team I can get behind!
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:26 PM ^
Manningham, Avant and Breaston produce for their teams. What happened to Arrington though? I remember reading stuff at the beginning of last year all the talent the Saints saw in him before he got injured and he hasnt even sniffed the field this year.
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:42 PM ^
You left out signing Braylon who will be a restricted free agent after this year.
November 23rd, 2009 at 5:46 PM ^
Well this just isn't a very good week at all.
November 23rd, 2009 at 5:47 PM ^
RB's as small as Hart usually don't stick around too long in the NFL. I am guessing that his legendary ability to talk trash will turn into a glib personality in front of the TV cameras. And if he applies to ESPN, having a degree from the University of Michigan can't hurt.
November 23rd, 2009 at 5:57 PM ^
I'd agree with you, but there doesn't appear to be any consistency in how one gets hired by a sports network these days.
Brian Griese + Tony Dungy + Keyshawn Johnson = Uhhh?
November 23rd, 2009 at 5:50 PM ^
How many times do we have tell you guys that Hart will never cut it in the NFL before you just get it.
Small + slow + injury prone = Fund raising position in the AD at Michigan.
November 23rd, 2009 at 5:55 PM ^
I still can't figure out why your post point total next to the reply button is in smaller font. Have you been screwing with the internets again?

It may be due to an unclosed HTML tag in his signature.

The HTML tags are closed, it's just eating the bottom HTML link

it looks like Brodie has an unterminated href block in his sig.
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:07 PM ^
Well, I wasn't sure about how I felt about him before, but this, this is the final straw.
Let's go Mfer.
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:45 PM ^
I'm glad someone else noticed that, I almost replied just to ask a few threads back. WTF Brodie?
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:56 PM ^
I noticed it yesterday but decided to keep it for uniqueness... but I'll change it back now
November 23rd, 2009 at 5:55 PM ^
he'll join Lance Armstrong's Tour de France cycling team.
November 23rd, 2009 at 5:53 PM ^
RichRod should hire Mike Hart as Tate's personal "don't fumble!!!" coach.
November 23rd, 2009 at 5:54 PM ^
I hope he can get on somewhere else for a few more years, but I will be more than happy to see Mike Hart come back to AA.
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:00 PM ^
There is talk of Fred Jackson leaving, so make Mike the next rb coach!! just half joking here
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:08 PM ^
grad assistant for a year or two first probably? Mike would be a killer recruiter I would think.
Tyrone Wheatley would be a stellar replacement as well.
November 23rd, 2009 at 9:14 PM ^
+1, let him start as a recruiter and then if it works have him become a coach.
November 24th, 2009 at 1:36 AM ^
its a bad idea. Bring in Tyrone Wheatley as the RB coach and have Hart as an assistant. I'm sure both of them would be good recruiters. Don't know if RR has anyone in mind for the spot or not though. Anyone from RRs past that he might look to if FJ is out?
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:04 PM ^
CFL is probably his best option at this point.
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:32 PM ^
As a Redskins fan and Michigan student, I would love for the Redskins to sign him. Our top 2 running backs (Portis and Betts) are out for the year, and we don't have anyone on the roster who can be an every down back. Hart could at least split carries with Rock Cartwright.
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:44 PM ^
As a Redskins fan and Michigan alumnus, I would love for the Redskins to stop sucking at football.
Dan Snyder has AIDS.
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:47 PM ^
I second that!!
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:46 PM ^
The Mike Hart can't make it in the NFL argument does not work. Look at Ray Rice. Same size, build , etc., he seems to be doing fine in the NFL
Go Blue!
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:35 PM ^
Ray Rice is much, much faster than Mike Hart. Love him, but he ain't a burner.
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:37 PM ^

Whoops double post.
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:20 PM ^
his 2 attempts for 9 yards and 1 reception of 18 yards will go down in colt history
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:26 PM ^
I will always remember the Hall of Fame game.
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:47 PM ^
Graduate assistant? Graduate assistant.
November 23rd, 2009 at 8:27 PM ^
I thought Hart had great intensity and was stronger than he looked. I really thought he was going to defy the odds. I don't care, he was still one of the greatest atheletes to play here.
November 23rd, 2009 at 9:18 PM ^
I thought he was cut after camp?
November 23rd, 2009 at 11:57 PM ^
He was placed on the scout team after camp.
November 24th, 2009 at 11:01 AM ^
He was cut, then made it back onto the practice team, then I think he made the roster, then cut again?
November 24th, 2009 at 12:26 PM ^
He made the team as an emergency back due to injury, now he isn't needed so he was cut
November 24th, 2009 at 2:30 PM ^
does anyone else remember the colts preseason game against the lions last season...it looked like mike hart was here to stay...but ended up just being another guy looking great against the lions. seemed like the end for him in indy when they drafted donald brown. he should catch on somewhere though. he's got a lot of game left in him, imo.
