The only thing that would've made it funnier is if OSU had done it.

Since that's really not possible, I could kind of see where MSU would do it.  Their O has sucked lately.  How funny would it have been if they'd hired him?

I'm not totally familiar with IU's situation (which offensive staffers left with Wilson), but I gotta think that a QB coach or RB coach running Wilson's system would've been better than DeBord.

Gahahahahaha!! Don Brown has to be licking his chops to play the most boring and predictable OC of all-time instead of the offensive mastermind Kevin Wilson every year.

This is hilarious.

And it's great news for Michigan, a trap road game has just dropped off of the schedule.

Rarely a clearer example of a situation where a guy isn't publicly fired, yet has been told to find another job.

Why would DeBird leave UT for IU? Was he going to be let go? I can't imagine IU would pay him more $ and it's a lateral move to an inferior program. Why would DeBord do this?

Maybe it's a pressure issue. Seems like the last few years Tennessee was expected to be "back" only to be the same ole Tennessee. Everyone expects IU to stink so maybe he's looking for a job where he can coast with little pressure, make a bowl game every now and then, and still get a nice fat check.

Tenneessee's offense this year (28th per S&P) was better than Michigan's (40th). It was also better than Wilson's Indiana offense (67th).
