Michigan/Iowa B-Ball Open Thread

Tuesday nights are just not good nights for games for me... Anyway, I am away from my tv again, and I can pick up the score on my mobile, but I come to here to get the color of the game. So to make sure someone talks about it, here we go. (I mean, there are people still watching...aren't there...?)

all the original plays on Michigan's name. "Make Michigan" on the front and "Our Bichigan" on the back. Also have seen an "Ann Arbor is a Whore" shirt. All they need is a "Wal-Mart Wolverine" one to complete the cycle. I know Iowa is really bad, but Lickliter should really have trouble looking his team in the face when he gives his munchkin son 7-10 minutes a game

Lickliter forced that turnover on Harris right? I watched that in slow-mo and it looked like it went off him. Looked like it should have been Michigan ball. That being said, Michigan is not closing this half out well at all.

Got to love when refs don't understand their own rules. It isn't when the foul is committed, it's when they blow their whistle, which was clearly after the half had ended.

that the first half just ended... can someone give me a summary? Lost is almost done. Switched over on commercials, saw us make some threes. Checked the box score, looked like LLP hit a few in a row. Collapse at the end of half like usual?

Basically as you say...LLP hit a few, they ended up tying us on a couple free throws after time expired. Don't really know how they caught up there, except that we missed a bunch in a row. Sims struggled...missed several at point blank. Still shooting 52% but it seems like it's worse because of the drought at the end of the half.

No complaining about anything. It should have been clear this is a bad team. You have to do stuff thats really annyoing and bad in order to lose to NW tiwce and Indiana and now Iowa. This team is bad, they will not look good. Frustration is nothing more than players that are just not that great at playing the sport of basketball.

I'm not giving up on them yet for this game, but the problem I have is that there isn't one player on the floor that I think feels comfortable with the ball in a tough/tense situation.
