Michigan/Iowa B-Ball Open Thread

Tuesday nights are just not good nights for games for me... Anyway, I am away from my tv again, and I can pick up the score on my mobile, but I come to here to get the color of the game. So to make sure someone talks about it, here we go. (I mean, there are people still watching...aren't there...?)

To the game now. Corner seats but only about 15 up. If you see me, yellow "HAIL" shirt with a very red face, too many pre game IPA's you have to slam your drink at home. Here's to gritty-grit-gritness and slugging one out on the road in Iowa Shitty. GO BLUE!!!

I bought this belgian specialty from the Anker brewery since 13oo's for x-mas decor and am killing it in honor of simms's trey and the team effort tonight. This ale is well worth even a seemingly lofty asking price. Damn, how come the belgians don't dominate in all things and yet commonly fail to qualify for the world cup. They rule in brewing. From the cork to the cage to the label to looking at the product in a glass...wow. It has a bit of the winter ale sweetness I usually don't like but this it a cut above and worth it on a special occasion, like beating Iowa on the road. HEll yaeh.

nah, broke and in college. Just not a luxury I can afford. I would just watch LOST online tomorrow, but with it being the last season and all, I just can't wait that long.

I don't know why I keep coming back to watch this team, but I suppose it comes down to the fact that I just don't get too excited about winter sports other than Michigan and Dayton basketball

It is because you are a true blooded fan. Through and through. Win or lose, it doesn't matter. The team, for better or worse, has a hold on your heart, your psyche. It doesn't let go in the bad times, it grips tighter. And because it grips tighter it hurts more, but when they turn it around, it will be that much better.
