Michigan Womens BB knocks off indiana on the road, 61-48

The Wolverine Women have knocked off last place indiana, 61-48.

The ladies were on fire with offensive rebounds.

Michigan's final home game of the season which is also senior night is Thursday against purdue. That game will be at 6pm on BTN. Everyone in the area try to make it out and support the ladies in their final game! The program is on the brink of their 5th NCAA Tournament appearance of all time.

Remaining schedule:

2/23    vs Purdue            6pm/BTN
2/26    at Iowa                3pm

Michigan leads 24-12 at commericial timeout.

There is a decent crowd there for an 0-12 team. Maybe because it's senior day for the hooisers. It would be nice if us Michigan fans could maybe fill the lower bowl for a few Wolverine Womens Basketball games.

I'm sure the players would love to see a nice big crowd on senior night, Thursday against purdue.

Michigan's lead is shrinking, 24-16.

They must keep their foot on the gas pedal. Michigan is 18-8 right now and considered an NCAA Tournament bubble team. A loss to this god-awful hoosier squad would almost ensure not making it.

Michigan does not wear warmup pants. They wear their shorts with a shooting shirt. It can be found at MDen for $90. It says they're all sold out in every size but small. However, don't buy what the website says. I know the MDen people and their tricks and if you call them they will have them more times than not. The MDen is very lazy when it comes to updating/being specific on their site.

indiana stormed back in the end, hit a 3 in the final minute of the half. Michigan had the ball at the end of the half, indiana stripped it.

Michigan leads 31-26 at half. Borseth needs to pull out his 2008 rant on the team and fire them up. If the program wants to take the next step, they need to learn how to hold & control their lead. Especially against the worst team in B1G if not the COUNTRY.

I just turned on the game for a few minutes and about got seasick.  Anyone else notice the camera shaking ever so slightly?  I especially noticed it when that IU girl was shooting FTs.  Maybe the camera guy is using a Shake Weight.

what inning is the game in? Dang if we hold on we should have went 3-0 in this challenge we blew a 4 run lead in the last two innings against Pitt in the first game.
