However, our women's sports are carrying the torch this year.
Volleyball, Tennis, Gymnastics, and Softball were/are all ranked pretty high.
Basketball wasn't exactly dominant, but they will likely play post season, which is more than we can say for their male counterpart.
Who are the Spartens? What school are they from?
Michigan Statutes i think
Good win, only because all NU is known for is women's sports. Not a great win because we were the 7 seed and NU was the 10. MSU will be tough, but bigger upsets have happened.
This is a solid win. Northwestern swept the regular season, but Michigan won today.
Hopefully, we do the repeat tomorrow.
This team has been playing some of its best basketball of late. MSU really isn't that much better than Michigan. The records are deceiving because Michigan lost a bunch of close games. A win on Friday may in fact put Michigan into the NCAA tourney for the first time since 2000-01.
to add the line:
...in front of a whopping 50 fans.

Women's BBall has been playing very well recently, hopefully they make a really nice run in this tournament and go to the NCAAs
For women's basketball, the traveling M fanbase isn't that bad.
