Methinks it's time for me to start watching women's bball more. U of M is 9-5 with 3 straight top 25 wins. Central is 8-4 and averages more points a game than any other team in the country.

Are you aware that CMU's coach (Sue Guevara) was the head coach of U-M's women's team from 1996 to 2003?

U-M's team is certainly on a nice roll. They had a very tough nonconference slate (their SOS is top 10 in the country per RealTimeRPI.com), so their five losses aren't as bad as they look. I'm not sure they should be ranked yet, however (in response to snoopblue below). They have a key game in one week (at Crisler) against MSU, when they'll attempt to break a seven-game losing streak against the Spartans. A win in that game might very well vault them into the top 25.

I almost feel like after their next loss, he should once again flip out at the press conference. That is really the only way WBB program that isn't UCONN Stanford or Tennessee can get some national coverage. Maybe they'll even show how much we've improved since his first rant.
