Infinite fucking pain watching this team half ass go through the motions. Dong punches would feel good compared to watching this. How in the hell do we give up 40 points to Wisconsin in the first half?

I still cannot understand how bad this team is. Lee and Merritt are not responsible for bad shooting and bad defense. So dont give me that whole leadership crap.

i know a lot of people love novak but he just isn't that good. And this team isn't going to be good until the raise the level of talent on the floor.

Although Darius Morris looks absolutely nothing like a 4* player he is a freshman...and I remember what Deshawn played like as a freshman. But what happened to Zack and Stu? I thought eventually one of them would work out of their slump. I want to believe in what Beilein is doing, but for the life of me I cannot point to one player Beilein has recruited who would be more than a bench player on an ncaa tournament team. I dont want to be impatient, but how many years does last year's tournament win buy Beilein? Does he get 6 more to make the tourney again? Or does his first real recruiting class(zack and stu) have to be successful?

I find it very annoying that Wisky players are literally laughing at us while knocking down 3 after 3. Plus #33 just gave Stu a bit of a forearm shiver. This blows...

I just vomited in my mouth. I have coached baseball and football for over 15 years now. I don't understand this game...how can you sit there and watch your team do this 2 games in a row and not even get "T'd" up?! I would have definitely been chucked by now.

I think they miss Grady. Don't think they would have beat Duke last year without Grady, his ball-handling bedazzled them. Had Grady stuck around and bought into Belien's system things might be a lot different this year. Sometimes things click when a player becomes an upperclassman, I miss Grady's speed, ball-handling, and 3 point shot.

I really like the way that this team plays defense (Stu and early non-conf. not included).. Wisconsin just does this to people. They've shut down Manny and hit shots with the clock running out. However, I can't stand a team that doesn't make FT's and has bad shooters launching so many 3's. Stu, honestly, shouldn't be on the floor anymore.. I've held back saying this, but it's true. He needs to be ~40% on threes to see court time. He hits 31% and is much worse against good teams (10-16 against Coppin St and IU), he doesn't rebound and can't play d. Morris is going to be very good and might carry this team the next couple years, but he still needs shooters to dish to. I don't see where they'll come from.. LLP? I've been to a lot of games this year and have cheered the team on the best I can (don't blame me). I think basketball will be fine in the long term under Beilein. Wright and Gibson have become serviceable, he brought in Morris, and got a tournament win last year. I just think it's going to be rough next year and this year just seems like a big, disappointing step back.

Jordan Dumars is not ready to play in the Big Ten yet. He struggled at USF in non-conference garbage time against other teams' benches. Luckily, he has a year to sit and adjust to the speed of this level in practice. Once Dumars adjusts, you never know. He could be a late-blooming second coming of his Dad. My thoughts are that he will probably be a solid role player as a senior. I hope I am very wrong and he turns into a star.

Sad thing is, we actually played pretty good defense most of the game. I've never seen Wisconsin commit so many shot-clock violations. They just shot the lights out from 3. At one point they were 11-15 from downtown. At that point you just look heavenward and scream "Why?" BTW, did anyone else notice that we didn't attempt a single three until there were like 5 minutes left in the first half? It looked like we made a concerted effort to take higher-percentage shots . . . at least until UW built the gigantic lead.

I was half-joking, but it wasn't a mistake that they would not shoot with more than 5-10 sec left in the shot clock. They're always minimizing possessions. I felt the same way that our D was pretty good and they were just hitting everything they jacked up there. I hate Bohannon.
