Michigan will beat Wisconsin

Submitted by M-Wolverine on
Just wanted to say that. Anyone who has seen my posts know I'm not Mary Sunshine, or a slappy, and I'm still on a very wait and see attitude...but damn, this team is so close. Eventually those bounces have to go Michigan's way, and since I don't know that there are enough bounces in the world for OSU week, why not an overrated fat and happy Wisconsin team? I'm not saying we're better than them...just that something has to bounce M's way, and if we're losing to a couple of teams we have no business losing to, we're due a victory over one we shouldn't beat. And I'm still pissed at those refs that I'm not allowed to post HUYGE RAGE!!!!!!!! Fuck.

Ok, I'm game, I'll take a shot of whatever it is you're drinking. I mean, what's the worse that could happen? The general consensus is we aren't going bowling so what's wrong w/ taking a shot of the Maize 'n' Blue Koolaid? Go Blue! Also, FWIW, I think UW having less of a passing game and far less mobile QB actually gives us a decent shot and it looks like our offense has decided to show up again - let's hope they stick around for the next couple of weeks...

i'm not 100% certain but outside of some lucky int's we didn't even make purdue punt until the fourth quarter. we can stop NO ONE. wisconsin will roll us and we will lose to osu by at least 20 points. i have remained a huge rich rod supporter but that's come to an end. purdue had no talent before the season and they've looked a hell of a lot more competent than we have.

We can't beat Illinois or Purdue but we'll beat Wisconsin? This team won't make a bowl. I feel awful for BG. Watching Inside Michigan Football and seeing how down he was after the Illinois loss was heart wrenching. I'll root them on but since this place is about being rational then how can people really believe that we have a chance in our next two games?

We can't beat Illinois or Purdue but we'll beat Wisconsin? That's exactly what happened last year. We just didn't lose to Illinois and Purdue before we played Wisconsin in 2008.

It's funny, but there was a time when Michigan could do nothing wrong in Camp Randall. I mean there was the 1981 loss to the Badgers, sure, but damn even when Alvarez was running the show, Michigan seemed to pull rabbits out of their hats to beat the badgahs on a consistent basis. Not anymore. Seriously, Michigan is giving up well over 4 ypc. Wisconsin's entire offensive line has an ear-to-ear grin right about now. Michigan's only hope: Walk on safety Jordan Kovacs. You may now step away from the edge of the bridge.

you people neging my points are unbelievable. i'm a new poster but a close follower of this site and a devoted michigan grad and fan. it's pathetic how blind you are to what's going on. we were one of, if not the worst team, in the big ten last year and this year. i've read the posts and agreed that we have no talent on defense, blah blah blah. i agree that in two years we could and should be a 8+ win team. however, it didn't have to be this bad. coaches adapt to talent and rich rod keeps forces a square piece in a round hole. we finish 5-7 and i miserably watch the bowl season without michigan playing in it for the second yr in a row. go ahead, neg me again.

shit a broken clock is right twice a day. Michigan has to get lucky and win a game sometime, right? I mean they don't even have to be good, just get lucky!!!!!!!!!!

If it makes you feel any better, it's not really a wealth of optimism....just believing the odds have to bounce our way eventually. And even though it's on the road, I like our chances this week better than last week. And really, what have I got to lose?

Well, that's a common misperception about probability; statistics, once they happen, are under no obligation to even out. Also, I didn't really see much bad luck in the Purdue game, just bad play. Considering that luck tended to go our way (Hemingway trip, etc), I wouldn't call that an unlucky loss.

If we summon the defensive coverage skills of Charles Woodson, Ty Law, and Marlin Jackson, and call upon the strength of LaMarr Woodley's biceps for some additional pass rush.

BTN commentator's prediction for Pryor getting 300 yards through the air vs. PSU even holds more water than that.

I guess I like your optimism. HOWEVA, Michigan "will" beat Wisconsin just like I "will" eventually move out of my parents house and get a girlfriend. Either scenario is possible but not very likely.

RR hasn;t proven to have a very good record in the Big Ten on the road (or at home for that matter). Going to Camp Ranadall, a demoralized team; it is doubtful they win. Like most of their Big Ten games, they will probably play one good half but lose.
