Let's Go Blue!

We have two games @ WMU, currently tied for 1st.  State is hosting Penn State for two games this weekend, so they will stay in the CCHA cellar.  BG, which is tied with us in 9th place, is @ Miami for two games.  NMU in 8th with 20 pts is @ AK for two games.  Sure would be nice to gain some points and move up a bit.

...back in late 80s, along with some others, most not suitable for print. Cornell was invited 4th team to GLI at or just after that time. Group of us did those chants at the Joe. One of that group of us went UM law school & continued tradition, always claimed we/he brought all those rude cheers here to Ann Arbor. Never believed him, & still don't, but was an article in the daily a few years back about crackdown on the foul language in some of these chants at Yost & article did trace their arrival to Cornell's appearance in GLI when these "rude fans" brought some of those nasty cheers out here. (I can believe Cornell fans in general, of which we were part, brought some of these chants, but my friend kind of claims personal responsibility.) Goalie - Sieve was definitely the mildest.

I'm in the social work school at WMU, waited outside in line for close to 30 minutes, and it reached capacity before I could get in. Seems like the first had a lot of action.

It's amazing how arrogant that twits from western are with how little they've won and how empty their trophycase is.

People can say whatever they want about us being arrogant but we earned that right by Michigan winning and filling Yost with championship banners.

The lunatics are amateurs. First they ban little kids from riding the zamboni at the intermissions because the lunatics were trying to get them to do inappropriate gestures. In the 2nd the PA had to warn them to use appropriate language.

I'm in Chicago right now, and the TV I'm watching on has two different college hockey games (Minnesota on BTN, Yale Cornell on NBC) and a freaking AHL game, but I can't watch either the Michigan Or Red Wings games. Sigh.

OT, but they are talking about Penn State's new program. Has anybody been paying attention to them this year? How are they doing? Are they going to be an okay program in the B1G next year?

Western and UM schedule some non conference games after this year. As a wmu alum i love seeing the hockey program doing good, and developing a rivalry between the two schools is a good thing.
