Wisconsin has really struggled on the road, going 5-10 in BT play since 2007.  I think that's why the line has dropped.  They are much better in Madison than on the road.  As Brian points out their run defense is susceptible to decent running attacks, which we clearly have.  We should be able to run the ball and if the Badgers fall behind it will take them out of what they want to do on offense.

I see Wisconsin winning 38-31.  The running game from Wisconsin will be too much for Michigan defense to handle.  Michigan offense will get their yards and points, but it may be too little, too late.

Predicting a Michigan Field Goal??

So - I've written a computer program that creates score predictions based on my self-defined drive efficiency metric, amongst other items.  I am still tinkering and testing the program, and won't have formal writeups until next year, but the program has performed well enough the last couple weeks to share that it takes:

If we get one more quarter from the D of not giving up a touchdown, I believe we'll win this game today easily.  If not, we're in for another shoot out!

DROB is going to have a great game and the offense will score a ton of points.  The defense may hold WI on a few drives and may pick up a turnover!  We may turn the ball over twice but not enough to matter.

On a side note, my mother who has been a Michigan fan for all of her 61 years of existence is at this game. Her first game at the big house! I hope Michigan can put on a show for her and pull off the upset.
