Run a play at end of the half. The Burke throw up a prayer at the buzzer can't be the best play in the book.

If we are down by a bucket at the end of a game in the tournament since that is about the percentage of us making a bucket at the end of half/regulation

Best case half for Wisco and we have the lead.

I like how JB has the rotation going this game: no Morgan, so they go double big with mcgary and Max, then double small to end with Trey and Spike.

they are +10 in those rotations I think

Ugly half, but that is expected at Kohl. Happy to have the lead after what happened at the beginning of the game. We need to keep finding quality shots and we'll be alright.

Nice 15 - 5 run to close the half with the lead. We took wiscys best shot and still got the lead on the road. Don't see them being able to regroup, i think we start to pull away now.

Wisky shooting % returning to normal levels. Stop panicking about every little mistake people. Feeling good about this one!

Feel free to beat me up if it doesn't turn out good!!!

GRIII needs to step up. He's been wilting in these big road games and we need his production. He needs to learn to move off ball and with the ball. He can't just stand there and hope someone gets him the ball with an open look.

So, here are some quick numbers -

Michigan:

FG% - 38.2% (13-34)

3PT% - 33.3% (3-9)

FT% - maybe in the second half

Wisconsin -

FG% - 44.0% (11-25)

3PT% - 36.4% (4-11)

FT% - 33.3% (2-6)

Most of the other box score stats are otherwise pretty even, as you might guess. Similar rebounds, assists, fouls, but Wisconsin has a few more turnovers. I think we were building momentum slowly there, so hopefully we start strong in the second half.

So everyone is aware, a quick series of tests on "The Dan Dakich Index" shows it to be about as valid as geocentrism and Piltdown Man.

Morgan healthy for this game, I think we would be killing them. Really wish Morgan had been healthy during this stretch, just to see how we match up against the best of the best at our top level.

That being said, our bench had really proven itself over this stretch

As much as i want to hate Dakich, he is repeatly the most informed annoucer noting the improvement of Mcgary, morgans injury effect etc.

Thank you.  No need to hate because everyone else does.  Awww, he didn't have our team number one in his viewpoint, God forbid somebody list us No. 2 and not No. 1; guess what, he's right Ohio is playing very well and turning into a good "team".

The whole thing with GRIII and his elbowing or whatever was wierd I'll admit, though I'll also admit I didn't follow the situation and know just what I read here.  But c'mon people, relax a little bit and realize that your listening to a knowledgeable, a rarity these days.

GRIII, 0-2 shooting, 0 points, 1 rebound, 1 foul

The only positive is the odds of him coming back go up slightly.  Imagine a more experienced and polished GRIII next year.

Wearing the old road uniforms becuase Adidas hasn't sent replacements yet for the ones that ripped at Minnesota.

Can't wait for the bitch thread that will inevitably ensue.
