I know it's Saturday morning, but where is this thread? It's playing to be #1 again! Wake up people, and Go Blue!

I'm surprised ESPN doesn't put Walton and Dakich together to announce a Michigan game. That'd be so much fun.

What was horrendous? The Horford block/charge looked wrong from our view, but we never got a decent replay.  Regardless, we got the next call.

The only other thing I can think of was the borderline goaltend. Yeah the fan in me wanted it called, but it was pretty damn close and I can't say I'm sure it was moving downward yet.

Gene Seratore is one of the best - he's also an NFL head ref.

Legitimate question, since I get negged for every attempt at promoting civil discussion in a game thread:

Is it possible for the refs to not be terrible? In every game they are "horrendous" and whenever I try to reasonably discuss it, I'm treated like I'm trolling.

Trolling is going to an MSU board and stirring up shit. I'm trying to legitimately discuss something. That used to be the strength of MGoBlog - we were better than the lowest common denominator found at MLive and RCMB.

I'm not calling people out specifically, but the game threads lately have been a bastion of sophomoric bitching and aversion to reasoned debate. I know it is a game thread and emotion will normally trump logic, but still: Can't we hold ourselves to a higher standard?
