chance of bowl: 13.6%
And there they go rushing the court...
What a painful few minutes to witness...
That's two last
About ref, we both had fouls to giv, if anything it was shitty both sides. Poor execution led to this loss.
Did you watch the game!?!
They should interview the officials.
It would've been hard enough to win without all that bullshit. Why did everything have to happen like that?
We got absolutely hosed in this game.
What a BS loss. We may be a tad overrated.
Worst fucking game ever. I hate Wisconsin. Shoulda had it.
They are storming the court for this? Really?
Good news! We don't have to go to East Lansing #1!
Fuck. Just, fuck.
A fucking joke
Unfuckingbelieveable. Fuck the effort in that game.
way too many easy shots missed under the basket for us...
Cant win on the road, cant win the big 10
For once i agree with the commentators. All we had to do is to foul the 3, and we didn't.
I really really really hate to say this, but JB has to take at least 70% of the blame.
What a waste of 2 hours of my life. They need to right the ship quickly
MSU is an absolute must win.
We win that game by 8 if it's fairly officiated. Got in our heads by the end, too.
Beilein blew it. What was he thinking during this one? It seemed like he had no clue what ws going on all game. The substitutions were bad, no offensive flow at the end of regulation or overtime. Not fouling on the inbound. Hopefully he realizes how bad he was today, because it was frustrating to watch.
At least they rushed the court against us. Which is like an open admission that we are better than they are. But honestly what can you say. Just terrible terrible luck. Beat State, get through this stretch 2-2 and we are still in just as good of shape as anyone else.
We didn't deserve to win this game, but neither did Wisconsin really. Ah well, welcome to the big ten. Honestly, I'm glad we have a week off after this gauntlet because we're gonna need it.
Bad things happen when herds of Wisconsin fans stampede down after beating Michigan. Will they ever learn?
Ugh Caris! Why didn't you foul him at end of regulation...ahhhrgghh!
most of those commenting here are pathetic. honestly, you all (those that deserve it) are much more pitiful than the team played tonight.
GREAT NOW WISC OWNS THE TIE BRAKER OVER MICHIGAN
2 free throws! 2!
It's like the refs make a concerted effort to swallow their whistles at Kohl so that they can aid Wisconsin in their quest to set basketball back 70 years.
Look at the shot chart. With all of those misses in close and only ONE was a shooting foul? Not fucking likely. Or the play where McGary picks up the loose ball and gets his legs cut out from behind while being shoved from in front? Not a foul?
Look, we lost this game by missing some gimmes and by not fouling before the game-tying 3, but this football on hardwood shit is ridiculous. It is like watching the NHL during the clutch-and-grab era. Watching the refs allow physical (read: illegal) play negate talent doesn't benefit the game or the fans. I would rather watch top talent making great plays than watch sloppy garbage plays grind out a win.
burned LeVert's redshirt. I love watching him watch Whitey McWhite hit another three over him. And then watching him fucking run and slide out of bounds on the inbound play , letting Wisconsin avoid an 8 second call that was 2 seconds away. He's clearly too talented to wait for him to develop or to bench in crunch time.
How does an entire coaching staff not realize that we need to foul on the inbounds pass at the end of regulation? Did no one open their mouth and say "Hey, maybe we should foul him on the catch"?
Beilien was yelling for a foul but LeVert disagreed. I honestly don't blame the kid, it's the coaches fault for continually insisting that he play in a max pressure situation when he is clearly struggling. I know he has long arms, but that doesn't make him a good defender. He's also a freshman who has never even started a game being asked to finish one.
a huge role in the game, clearly were watching a different game. Officiating kept Wisky in the game, plain and simple. The winning three was scored on possession they should have not of had. Ball was clearly off Wisconson.
Don't care how talented a team is, playing against both the opponent and the officials is a difficult task.
The worst was an obvious goaltend in the first half that led immediately to a fast break for Wisconsin. There's four points.
And we shot 2 free throws and were in the lane the whole game.
We have some ugly streaks that need to get corrected and we just missed a great chance in Madison.
...is the result of poor coaching down the stretch. Coach B blew it by allowing a shot at the end of regulation. 2 fouls to give and then a 1 and 1. Game over; Michigan win. Very disappointing.
It is pretty obvious that there is really no focused game plan to close out games for Michigan. It seems to dissolve into going to one-on-ones, or not designing plays to get someone open. Obviously hitting one of about 10 missed lay-ups would have helped as well, but it would be nice to feel like a time-out actually resulted in a designed play-type substance that focused some effort into getting one of the shooters into a good position to get an open shot or move the ball in something other than a long-range 3 point shot.
Also, how many times this year has it been brought up that you foul with a 3 point lead and less than 5 seconds left before teams, you know, actually implement the strategy?
Gonna be a loooong day at work today. Especially being surrounded by bandwagon sparties.
Yeah, that stupid man-to-man defense. Who comes up with crazy fucking ideas like that?
