Western is currently #13 in the pairwise. If they do not win this series, odds are their season is done. They are the second highest team in the CCHA in the pairwise behind Miami who is #3. ND is #14, Ferris is #25. No other CCHA team is above the TUC line (Ohio State and Michigan are just under it...but still would need to win the championship to make the tournament, and I think Ferris is in the same boat)
ND also has taken the lead against BG with 12 to go in the 1st

It can actually help WMU in the pairwise as UM would likely become a TUC, and they will have split the season series 3-3.
