Michigan vs. VCU Postgame (snowflakes) Thread
UNC would be a great game and very winnable.
Kansas was really looking off in their first game against WKU, so if that continues they could be beatable.
he did pick UM to beat VCU because of their guard play. And, when he was bashing the Big Ten, he said that UM and IU had great players and could do well, but the other teams were just good teams.
If they continue to play like they did today, very good chances they'll be coming to my 'hood soon.

I said to a friend early in the game when we weren't up by much that I would only feel comfortable against VCU if we were up by 30 with 5 minutes to go. So proud of our guys for bringing that to fruition!

Mitch McGary probably should find himself a safehouse or a maybe a relative close by. Lay low for a while, because he's probably wanted for murder after that pick.

I can't remember another game all season where they played great in both halves. And Zoltanrules' prediction in the start of the open thread about spike, mcgary, and gr3 was almost scary accurate

It was about 4 minutes of Michigan Basketball and I'd love to watch it forever.
I was very confident about this one. I loved that we drew VCU in the tourney. Not only were they the perfect matchup for us (a smallish team that is dependent on forcing turnovers and likes to play fast), but the media all stupidly jumped on their bandwagon and gave us a ton of bulletin-board material. Don't count out a Beilein team in the tourney.
