the opponent on the three having gotten no points from our drive into their side of the filed, or a field goal for three points after having thrown for a 6-7 yerd gain on 3rd down instead of calling a draw with safeties in the box? I really have to question how you define "worked"

Oline looks like shit. I think Nuss knows that Devin might go hero ball on that 3rd down so he went conservative. Hard to make a gutsy call when your QB has a history of gaffes on 3rd and long and your Oline is playing like shit.
