If you wear no headset then you aren't allowed any sideline mistakes or delay of games because that is ALL you can bring to the table besides clapping!! Who honestly thinks we are even close to being good? We have systematic flaws on 2 of 3 major facets of the game.

Losing to a team without a QB, but then again I guess we are also a team without a QB so it is pretty even.

Gardner gets 1 drive since Funchess fucked up his last one.

Basically he's at 0 for me...he's lost all benefit of the doubt and he's on a formula.

1 good drive earns him 2 more drives

1 drive messed up by someone else, earns a redo

1 bad drive earns Morris 2 drives.

...he's got no more drives "in the bank," this one is it. Go get 14 points on 2 drives and get a little cushion.

Mr. Yost, I like you, your a lot like myself, level headed. I have a very hard time believing that this coaching staff really wants DG to be the QB, because he is a 5th year senior, wearing a legends jersey. But deep down I think they realize it might be better to just get shane in there and let him and the O-line mature at the same time.

I'm not a coach, don't know much about the inside part of the game, and I have know idea how to make this offense better, but at some point you have to make a change to see if it works out.

That's what frustrates me. You don't have to commit to Morris for the rest of the season or even the rest of the game.

If Devin struggles on his first drive and we continue to go nowhere...give Morris 2 drives and put him on the same "formula" you have Devin on. He gets 2 drives, do well, you keep playing, suck it up and you're out.

Now you don't go flip flopping back and forth, but if Morris comes in and does nothing...Devin hasn't proved that he would've given you anything on those 2 drives that Morris got. Just put him back in and try to win with what you have in Gardner.

But at this point Gardner hasn't done enough for Morris not to get a couple series to get us going.

If Trey Burke is sucking it up...maybe you role with Spike Albrecht for a little bit. If Spike is playing really well, you ride the hot hand. If he's no better, you put Trey back in and live with losing with your starter if it comes to that. But at least see what you have.

Again, I want to give Gardner one more drive, especially coming out of the half. But if it doesn't get better, let's get the backup in there...and see if we get a hot hand. If we don't, whatever, Gardner should be refocused and ready to win us the game if he's really a starter and a leader.

but make sure we are 50\50 on first down...that's Devin's best chance to pass.

Also, with apologies to all the Devin diehards, he takes too long to pull the trigger.  Shane makes quicker decisions.  Devin is a great athlete, but I think Shane should get a series.
