Missouri losing at home to UConn 6-2 at halftime.  Them, Okla St and Auburn have no business ranked right now.  I don't know if we're a top 25 team or not, but we're better than at least those three.

The Maryland QB just hit a 50 yard pass. Granted, he left it about three yards short or it was a TD, but still. Maryland is about to finish a 66 yard drive with 50 seconds left in the half.

I really am trying to not to panic. But it's hard when BYU will be a competitive team next week, then conference play begins. Today should be the day Rudock shows he is capable of running the offense.

The main reason he is starting is because he's supposed to be reliable, and not  make mistakes. If he can't even do the one job he was brought in for.. well, it'll be a long season. They're going to have to rely on the QB throwing the ball against great defenses in the big ten, because I assume running the ball won't be as easy come conference play.

Realistically, what other option do we have at QB?

Morris hasn't seen the light of day over injured Devin Gardner who was playing like shit for multiple weeks. Now he's got a new coach, one who...I repeat, would start Andrew David at QB if it gave him a .0000001% better chance at winning the game. And he STILL isn't starting. And he had Harbaugh all spring --- Rudock just arrived a couple of months ago.

Malzone and Speight also played in the spring and didn't beat out Morris - so that tells me something. Certainly players improve, but it's not like Shane Morris was or is a very high standard.

And then you have 2 true freshman.

Rudock was, is, and is always going to be the best option for this year. We need to get off the "bench him" bullshit. Sure we can talk about his poor play, no question...but it's not like we've got something available behind him that screams "GIVE HIM A SHOT!!!"

We've got guys who've had multiple opportunities with multiple coaches and still, Rudock is ahead of everyone.

And you can't say it's because of his strong arm or playmaking ability that sometimes mesmorizes people. He has neither of those things.

Not to thread jack, but Watching the commentary on Hackenberg and past highlights really make me want him to succeed.

Not that I have any particular love for Penn State, but just because he has the potential to truly be great, but every week we're watching that potential being wasted on that atrociously bad OL. I mean it's far worse than what we had in 2013.

Sorry but after Hoke, I just hate watching talent of any kind being completely wasted.
