Michigan vs. UMass - Point Spread & Over/Under?
I've done some initial searching an cannot find any point spread or over/under for this weekend's game. I realize UMass is an FCS team so perhaps there is no official point spread. If this is the case, can someone provide an estimate?
Or since THE_KNOWLEDGE already knows the final score, maybe he can chime in with his thoughts. THE_KNOWLEDGE is a great man and shall leave all doubters in a trail of dust.
Thank you in advance.

Huh. I just went on 10 different sites trying to find a point spread and couldn't find one. If it's because of an FCS thing, this would be the first I've heard of that happening. I think we should make up our own point spread. I'll say Michigan -30. Thoughts?

I saw it on AOL sports and only saw two Internet sites had it on the board and it was Michigan -21 and it had no over/under don't know if it was right but that was yesterday but couldn't find anyone else who had it

5Dimes.com is the only one I see now and it's up to -27.5 now but opening line was -21 still no over/under

I checked Monday on Yahoo odds and the only one that was on there was 28. Have not checked since.

Vegas does not do spreads for games against FCS teams. I would assume the line would be in the 30 range.

This is correct, and has been for quite some time. You can search hard to find ones like they did above or go off shore.

That is strange huh? I couldn't find the line anywhere either.

<br>I think it would be somewhere around 30-32.

last year was Michigan -38. I was in Vegas last year and was frightened to death of Michigan not covering. I didn't bet it and I just about kicked my own ass after it was 30-something to nothing at halftime. I would take Michigan -28 in a heartbeat.

I would think that it would be about 24 - 28 (usually right on these things) and over under would be 55ish.. which if you think about it would be a 38-17 (I realize thats only 21 pts)game which kind of makes sense for Vegas standards and with our defense

I, uh... know someone... who is interested in these sorts of things, and he has found that lots of online books put out lines on FCS or FBS vs. FCS no earlier than Friday afternoon, sometimes as late as Saturday morning. With limited UMass knowledge, while being as impartial as possible.... I'd believe anything between 25-35. 21 seems a tad light...

This is the site i go to for spreads. Michigan/UMass is listed. One place has -21 and another is listed at -27.5

My off shore site gives odds for all games against FCS teams, but, does not post them until very early Saturday morning. If I remember, I'll post it on the board pre-game.
Not sure if they do an over/under

At 27.5? Even there I'll be their Huckleberry.

I cant add anything else, other than the fact that popular betting sites like 5dimes have had FCS vs FBS lines for several years, even FCS vs FCS games and mostly all their playoffs--which is awesome when I wake up shaking for lack of football action the second saturday of december.
As for this line, at 5dimes I swear I saw it at -21 on Monday. So, I am glad somebody else saw that. Anyway, i double checked yesterday and yeah, not so much. Same site it was -29.5 and it became 30.5 hours later.
As somebody pointed out above it is currently at -27.5. Talk about a volatile line.
I have not seen an O/U total yet. Michigan has been an over machine for the last years, but an Under and a Push so far this year. DSU was an easy an Over win, IIRC, as it was MICH cover. I have a suspicion that Saturday might be a much harder cover, but just an easy Over bet.
