Thanks for the stream. I get angry when I can't see the games.

People rip the football program for scheduling FCS schools, but not basketball for scheduling D2 schools.

McGary in foul trouble might be a real thing this season.

An airball on a lay up...don't see that too often...

There's still a ton of game left but I have to remind myself that these are kids playing basketball. I jut hope they don't let this hype and high ranking get into their heads. I would like to see them just go out there and ball.
Hardaway looks good aside from that air balled layup.
Also, and more importantly, a major upgrade in the sideline reporting department. Very nice
If I tell you it's Easter, you better start looking for eggs.
Some folks call it a sling blade, I call it a kaiser blade.
Is this an official regulars season game?
yes

Horford and Hardaway looking good...our freshman...not so much today...I kinda prefer seeing something from H and H though
Horford looks a ton bigger this season.

That sure looked like a charge to me.

Something left to be desired: rebounding.

Different type lineup... Spike- Burke- Stauskas- Horford- Morgan. This could be a tough lineup to defend if Morgan/Horford could establish a mid-range shot.
If that is not a travel, I don't know what is.

Young guys look like they're taking a while to get up to speed on defense against a veteran team. Once they get their feet wet things should look a lot better on that end of the court.
...but man, I like what I see from Stauskas especially. He stands out to me in terms of athleticism and hustle. I'm excited to see that guy contribute, grow and develop under Belein the next 4 years.

How can a supposedly elite team struggle with a D2 school? The answer is that team is not elite.

Wait you're upset? Par the course, it's the 1st game of the year.....relax. I don't think many of us truly think this is a top 5 team we probably belong in the 10-15 range.
Blank.....Blank......You're not looking at the big picture here.
I'd be more understanding if it were CMU or Bowling State, but a D2 school? Pitiful. Michigan should win by 40 simply by showing up.
"The Ruhr will not be subjected to a single bomb. If an enemy bomber reaches the Ruhr, my name is not Hermann Göring: you can call me Urban Meyer!"
by struggling, you mean beating by 10 with 4 to go in the first half? I hope we struggle like that all year
THis is a D2 school. In case you are unaware of this fact, but D1 schools are much, much, better than D2 schools. Leading a D2 by ten with 4 to go is not a good thing.

...think of the #5 preseason rating as more of an expectation for the end of the year. This team will deal with growing pains, especially since they are going to get significant minutes from 5 players who have little to no experience in college (including Horford). They are talented, but even the Fab five dropped games here and there. Up 14 at the half, nothing to get too upset about.

So, is 41 points enough for you?
