Sometimes the other team's gotta eat as well. They RPS'ed the shit out of that play: unblocked blitz right into the zone read to which the play was not designed to read that blitzer. Don't like it anymore than you do, but it just happens sometimes. More pissed at the D for letting a TD.

it's still been all us all half 28-10 and we get the ball to start off the 2nd half so not worried at all. Unless Purdue becomes the incarnated spirit of Alabama's 2009 team. This comeback ain't happening. Purdue Pete looks like a mascot with a giant Dan Akroyd head.

Terry Hawthorne being stretchered off for Illinois and doesn't appear to be moving. Ugly scene

Ed. : Hands are moving, that at least is good news..

that could have been even better, we're 1 yard from a FG and a drive at the end there would have made it anywhere from a 34 or 38 to 3 lead, oh well.

Let's come out in the 2nd half and kick more ass, Can you imagine how good our defense will be going forward with more experience and GREAT coaching!

dammit, should not have lost that fumble, we're looking at 35-3 vs 28-10. nonetheless, denard's playing well. i like our chances.

gotta say on a sidenote, however, that i'm really happy for penn state. we don't play them this year, and given their situation, i want them to win out. when they come out on the other end eligible for bowl games/playoffs, the B1G needs them to be top-notch.

Yes, Denard is is gaining a lot of rushing yards, but this is because he has 2 options that te defense has to watch for. Fitz is bugging me with him trying to dance around too much running backwards trying to create somethig out of nothing and in turn losing years. BUT Fitz is getting hit right after getting the ball or soon after.. Which makes it impossible to do anythig for a running back.

the first backfoot throw today. His fundamentals are fine when he has time, pressure does cause some backfoot throws though. Hopeless to me, would mean that the fundamentals are out of wack most of time, and I don't believe that is the case with Denard. To be honest, I would say questionable decision making is a bigger issue than throwing mechanics.
