Great challenge
October 6th, 2012 at 4:15 PM ^
Looks like a TD to me. His elbow touches but the nose of ball is over the white. Should be overturned.
October 6th, 2012 at 4:16 PM ^
Um... Hm... Wow okay.
October 6th, 2012 at 4:15 PM ^
That's a Touchdown.
October 6th, 2012 at 4:15 PM ^
clear to me.
October 6th, 2012 at 4:16 PM ^
Elbow may have been down...
October 6th, 2012 at 4:16 PM ^

Vincent Smith TD pass. Here we go!
October 6th, 2012 at 4:17 PM ^
I can go for Vince Smith pass right about now.
Too soon? Jk
October 6th, 2012 at 4:17 PM ^
Too slow actually :)
October 6th, 2012 at 4:17 PM ^
Touchdown.
October 6th, 2012 at 4:17 PM ^
Cool, now we get to score the touchdown twice!
October 6th, 2012 at 4:18 PM ^
Wow. 2 in a row #61?
October 6th, 2012 at 4:18 PM ^
Wow. 2 in a row #61?
October 6th, 2012 at 4:19 PM ^
Your assumed unintentional double post is so absolutely perfect.
October 6th, 2012 at 4:28 PM ^
Yea it was only right for a dp to come with #61 getting the same penalty two times in a row.
October 6th, 2012 at 4:19 PM ^
Haha way to say that 2 times in a row
October 6th, 2012 at 4:20 PM ^
Damn 2 slow...
October 6th, 2012 at 4:18 PM ^
MANBALL BABY...MANBALL...
October 6th, 2012 at 4:22 PM ^
td anyway. Great opening drive, that is how you manhandle a team upfront. Nice job by Borges of getting back to the basics on that drive.
October 6th, 2012 at 4:19 PM ^
If we keep up the long ground-based drives, this game will be over by 6:00.
October 6th, 2012 at 4:20 PM ^
i'm glad you reviewed our 4 losses the past 2 years and realized that we win when we RUN the ball and lose when we don't.
what was that 15 runs and 3 passes = TD? all day baby!
October 6th, 2012 at 4:30 PM ^
but ok....
October 6th, 2012 at 4:20 PM ^
Great 3 and out by the defense and hard 17 play punishing drive by Denard and Co. has Michigan up 7-0!!! GO BLUE! Good for Fitz to get into the endzone! Hoping this game fires his gears up!
October 6th, 2012 at 4:21 PM ^
Sure, lets hope they keep it up!
October 6th, 2012 at 4:21 PM ^
Did Al call good plays?
October 6th, 2012 at 4:25 PM ^
like he is making an attempt to get back to the basics after the bye week. That is exactly what many of us have been asking for.
October 6th, 2012 at 4:27 PM ^
We had a similar drive against ND, we just turned it over in the Red Zone.
Basics in the redzone. Absolutely.
October 6th, 2012 at 5:40 PM ^
that playcalling./gameplan today is the same as it was against ND? Think you need to rewatch the ND game if you think execution on the player's part is only difference. Sigficantly harder to turn it over, when your running the ball and throwing a lot of short quick patterns.
Al was clearly being genuine when he said he wasn't happy with his playcalling and was looking to make improvements in the bye week. Those are his words, not the fans, not sure why it is so hard for some people to accept that he did in fact do that or that his playcalling did in fact need improvement.
October 6th, 2012 at 6:31 PM ^
In a game we trailed almost all the game we still ran 41 to 25 times passing. We weren't throwing bombs that were intercepted. Denard was just hitting ND guys in the number. This game even his incomplete have been thrown away or where only the receiver can get it.
A coach is never satisfied and always looking to improve. He wasn't in any way saying "the fans are right...we need to change everything; I suck." I don't know why it's so hard for some fans to accept that if Denard doesn't throw interceptions the play calling probably has us up 31-13 against a Notre Dame too.
October 6th, 2012 at 7:13 PM ^
playcalling wasn't optimum and made some adjustments in the bye week . I simply taking him at his word. Let's be clear here, nobody is saying Al Borges is a bad cordinator who needs to fired or anything. Also, not sure where you are getting the change everything line from. I don't think anybody thought a radical overvaul was needed, just some tweaks here and there.
I think Al is at the very least a good cordinator, and will be a good fit into the future. For now he just has to work with what he has.
October 6th, 2012 at 4:22 PM ^
What a classic look. I'm old and tired of the zany alternative uniforms.
October 6th, 2012 at 4:23 PM ^
Didn't matter but looked like Denard was in. When his elbow hit shadow of the ball is ever the line and you can see from other shadows that they are direct overhead to slightly behind
But even if not it's the one foot line not one yard line. Why don't they review that as well and move the ball? Can be the difference.
